SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC FORMING OF CONTAINERS
Systems and methods of forming articles using electromagnetic radiation are disclosed. In some aspects, the system includes a plurality of forming modules movably mounted relative to an infeed mechanism. The infeed mechanism is configured to supply pre-form articles to the plurality of forming modules, and each of the plurality of forming modules includes a multi-segment mold disposed about an electromagnetic coil. The electromagnetic coil is configured to impart an electromagnetic force on the pre-form articles when supplied with electrical energy that urges the pre-form articles into contact with the multi-segment mold to produce the formed containers.

APPARATUS FOR FORMING BLOCKS OF COMPACTABLE MATERIAL
Apparatuses for forming blocks of compactable material such as snow, having a hollow upper body with a compression chamber within for containing and subsequently compressing the compactable material to form a block that can be used in connection with recreational activities. A lower body having a flat compression plate attached to a top end, is configured to slide within the compression chamber, the compression plate being capable of pushing the compactable material into a hinged lid that is attached to a top end of the upper body and acts to cover a top opening of the upper body. Ferromagnetic materials attached to the underside of the compression plate are configured to contact other ferromagnetic materials attached to the interior walls of the compression chamber, which at least temporarily arrests sliding movement of the upper and lower bodies, and allows a user to fill the apparatus with compactable material.

Methods For Producing A Structural Component
Methods of manufacturing a structural component each include providing a preformed layered structure including a plurality of layers each having reinforcing fibers embedded in a thermoplastic matrix material, heating the layered structure in a cavity formed between a contour surface and an abutment member to a first temperature, which is greater than a melting point of the thermoplastic matrix material, and cooling the layer structure in the cavity to a solidification temperature which is, e.g., less than the melting point of the thermoplastic matrix material, while applying a compression pressure. According to a method, the compression pressure is generated by using a magnet device to generate a magnetic field directed transversely to the contour surface, which pulls or compresses the abutment member and the contour surface relative to each other. According to a further method, inductive heating of the cavity occurs.

Compression-molding method and device for permanent magnet
A compression-molding method for a permanent includes: providing a drive coil to generate an electromagnetic force when a transient current is passed into the drive coil, so as to apply a molding compression force to magnetic powder under compression, and providing an orientation coil to generate an orientation magnetic field when a transient current is passed into the orientation coil, thereby providing the magnetic powder under compression with an anisotropic property; and synchronously passing the transient currents to the drive coil and the orientation coil to synchronously generate the electromagnetic force and the orientation magnetic field, thereby completing compression-molding of the permanent magnet, wherein a magnitude of the electromagnetic force and an intensity of the orientation magnetic field are respectively changed by changing peak values of the transient currents.
Electromagnetic stamping apparatus
An electromagnetic stamping apparatus includes a work platform configured to load a work piece. A stamping component is coupled to the work platform and has a first position and a second position. The stamping component includes a stamping rod and a stamping head. The stamping head stamps the work piece on the first position. An electromagnetic device is coupled to the stamping rod and generates a magnetic force according to an alternating current to push the stamping component to the first position to make the stamping component stamp the work piece. A compression spring pushes the stamping component to the second position according to the restoring force of the compression spring. Wherein, the magnetic force is greater than the restoring force of the compression spring to make the stamping component stamp the work piece twice in every waveform period of the alternating current.
