STEELPAN MUSICAL INSTRUMENT HYDROFORMING PRESS
A machine can form a work piece into a bowl subcomponent of a steel pan musical instrument. The machine includes a pressure lid and a die mold. The die mold may be formed of non-metal layers stacked between metal layers. In example operation, a blank or work piece is inserted between the lid and die mold. The lid is pressed down (e.g., by a hydraulic ram), forcing a portion of the blank into a face groove of the die mold for sealing. Pressurized water or other fluid introduced between the lid and the blank exerts pressure on the sealed portion of the blank and stretches the blank to conform to a bowl shape of the die mold. Note regions can be introduced by this machine-performed shaping and/or by subsequent manual operations to further prepare the work piece for incorporation into a steel pan musical instrument.
Bladder devices for moving components of web packaging machines
A bladder device is for moving a component of a web packaging machine that forms and encloses a food product in a food product package made of webs of packaging material. The bladder device has a bladder and a nipple stub coupled to the bladder and having a first end configured to receive a gas and a second end configured to dispense the gas into the bladder to thereby inflate the bladder and move the component of the web packaging machine. A collar coupled to the nipple stub such that the bladder is sandwiched between the collar and the second end of the nipple stub. The second end of the nipple stub has a depression and the collar has a boss that is oriented towards the depression such that tightening the collar on the nipple stub forces the bladder into the depression and thereby forms a fluid tight seal.

A method for manufacturing a cellulose product, comprising the steps: dry forming a cellulose blank in a dry forming unit; arranging the cellulose blank in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100? C. to 200? C.; and pressing the cellulose blank in the forming mould with a forming pressure of at least 1 MPa.

A method for manufacturing a cellulose product, comprising the steps: dry forming a cellulose blank in a dry forming unit; arranging the cellulose blank in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100? C. to 200? C.; and pressing the cellulose blank in the forming mould with a forming pressure of at least 1 MPa.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE-HIGH-PRESSURE PROCESSING UNIT BY SOLVENT APPLICATION OF PRESSURE
To provide a hydrostatic pressure type high temperature and high-pressure treatment apparatus by a wet method and a dry method for efficiently mass-producing high-quality and large-sized synthetic diamond. In the treatment apparatus, a high-pressure cell prevented from the intrusion of a pressure medium into the inside is housed in a high-pressure container, and hydrostatic pressurization is performed by the liquid pressure medium. At least one pressurizing mechanism 10 for the pressure medium 6 is provided, and a pressure medium having a known compressibility and volume change rate is used. A heating mechanism for the pressure medium and a measuring means for the average temperature in the vertical direction are provided, the pressure medium is heated to a predetermined temperature to be thermally expanded, treatment is continued while maintaining the pressure even after the pressurizing mechanism is stopped, and two or more high-pressure cells 9 can be simultaneously subjected to high-temperature and high-pressure treatment at uniform pressure without directionality.

A first heating body configured to heat the first moulding member and conductively heat the blank part. Two thermal insulation members are configured to cooperatively define a closed cavity in which at least the moulding members and the first heating body are arranged. A casing defining an internal volume in which at least the moulding members, the first heating body and the thermal insulation members are arranged, and a suction member is configured to lower the internal pressure in the internal volume to compress the preform part between the moulding members.
