METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEAT EXCHANGER FOR ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE, AND PRESSING DEVICE
In a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger for a rotating electrical machine, a pressing device is placed inside a tube with elastic members compressed so that a first pressing part and a second pressing part press the tube mutually oppositely in directions in which the diameter of at least a part of the tube located between two through holes of two supporting members expands. Pressure is built up in the tube and the tube is plastically deformed to form an inside large diameter part and inside connecting parts.

CURING MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING A TURBOMACHINE COMPONENT MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL FROM A PREFORM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A COMPONENT BY MEANS OF SUCH A MOLD
A curing mold for manufacturing a turbomachine part made of composite material from a preform produced by draping pre-impregnated materials includes: a first body and a second body designed to be attached to each other and jointly defining a fixed air gap for receiving the preform and itself including a molding part of complementary shape with the part to be manufactured and intended to receive a portion to be molded of the preform, and at least one additional part located in a peripheral space of the air gap and intended to receive an additional portion forming an edge of the preform; a heating member designed to heat the preform in the air gap to a first temperature; at least one inflatable bladder housed in the first or second body, facing an additional part of the air gap; a member for injecting a pressurized fluid inside the bladder(s).
Clam shell lamination system
A high-speed lamination machine includes a hinged, clamshell lid, and clamped lamination chamber that uses localized and thermally isolated heating and stepper driven separation pin motion. Pneumatically actuated rollers in a track clamp the lamination chamber closed during operation. The clamshell design obviates the need for a hydraulic press and makes the lamination chamber easily accessible to other automated systems, so robots may be used to place lamination elements within the chamber.
Preform shaping apparatus
According to one implementation, a preform shaping apparatus includes a rigid mold and a pressurizing jig. The rigid mold has a shape corresponding to a shape of a preform which has been shaped. The pressurizing jig presses an unshaped material of the preform to the rigid mold at different positions and different timings. Further, according to one implementation, a method of shaping a preform includes: producing the shaped preform by pressing an unshaped material of the preform to a rigid mold at different positions and different timings; and using a pressurizing jig for pressing the material. The rigid mold has a shape corresponding to a shape of the preform. The pressurizing jig is adapted to apply pressures on the material at the different positions and the different timings.

Controlled shear vacuum forming for shaping preforms
A controlled shear vacuum forming method that includes forming a three-dimensional (3D) structure from a preform material on a molding tool using restraints during vacuuming to prevent wrinkling. The restraints are withdrawn during vacuuming to allowing the preform material to come into contact with the sidewalls of the molding tool in a gradual manner. Such forming method is particularly suitable for forming wing spars with bent sections and/or curved contours.
A MOULDING METHOD FOR MAKING A MONOLITHIC COMPONENT INTERNALLY PROVIDED WITH AT LEAST ONE CAVITY INSIDE
A molding method for making a monolithic component made of C-SMC and internally including a cavity, including preparing a press including first and second half molds and movable side carriages defining a molding space, and placing a core inside the molding space. The core comprises a membrane, delimiting a containing space shaped to form the cavity, and at least one connector engaged with the membrane. The method includes wrapping a charge of material to be molded around the core, fixing the core inside one between the first and the second half molds, and filling the containing space of the membrane with a filling material. After closing the half molds, applying a molding pressure and then emptying the containing space of the filling material and, after opening the half molds, removing the core from the molded monolithic component.
Apparatus and method for a pressure-sintering connection
A method and an apparatus for the pressure-sintering connection of a first and a second connection provide a frame element lowerable onto a frame surface surrounding the supporting surface, having a sintering ram lowerable lowered from the normal direction onto the second connection partner and exerts pressure thereon, and converting a sintering paste between the connection partners into a sintered metal, and having an auxiliary apparatus for the arrangement of a separating film for the peripheral covering of the frame surface and the connection partners. This arrangement of the separating film produces an inner region bounded by the frame element and bounded by a separating film portion within the frame element and by the supporting surface, and injection opening and an outlet opening allow a second gas to flush through said inner region from the injection opening to the outlet opening and displace a first gas.
Method for manufacturing a cellulose product by a pressure moulding apparatus
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cellulose product having a flat or non-flat product shape by a pressure moulding apparatus comprising a forming mould. The forming mould has a forming surface defining said product shape, The method comprises the steps of: arranging a cellulose blank containing less than 45 weight percent water in said forming mould; heating said cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing said cellulose blank by means of said forming mould with a forming pressure acting on the cellulose blank across said forming surface, said forming pressure being in the range of 1 MPa to 100 MPa.
