A method is provided for joining structures, where at least one of the components to be joined is individually plastically deformed in a radial press. A control unit for the radial press has a PLC machine controller and a BTLE communication module and a mobile terminal is associated. Mobile terminals are designed to communicate with a central server via a mobile data network, which central server is equipped with a pressing program memory. Configuration programs used to set up associated radial presses are stored on the mobile terminals. Each radial press is set up by means of the associated mobile terminal, specifically by configuration of the PLC machine controller by means of a specific pressing program in accordance with program-specific data retrieved from the central server for a particular lot. Within the lot, each individual radial deformation process is triggered by triggering means arranged on the radial press itself

Oil hydraulic press

The present disclosure provides an oil hydraulic press including a support frame, at least one main cylinder assembly and at least one fixed die table. The at least one main cylinder assembly and the at least one fixed die table are disposed in the support frame. A pressing mechanism is formed between the at least one main cylinder assembly and the at least one fixed die table. The support frame is in an annular or ring-like shape and is configured for fixing the at least one main cylinder assembly and the at least one fixed die table. The main cylinder assembly and the fixed die table can be fixed by the support frame, which forms a ring-like structure, can be operated in one, two or multiple sets in parallel, and all can realize pressing manufacture. The oil hydraulic press has less components, reduced material consumption and low manufacturing cost.

Oil hydraulic press

The lower pressing assembly is movably mounted with the at least one first supporting rod of the body. The upper pressing assembly is movably mounted with the at least one second first supporting rod of the body, and is able to move toward the lower pressing assembly.

Press machine

A press machine has a body, a lower pressing assembly, and an upper pressing assembly. The body has a first driving device, a second driving device, at least one first supporting rod, and at least one second supporting rod. The at least one first supporting rod is rotatably connected to the first driving device. The at least one second supporting rod is rotatably connected to the second driving device. The lower pressing assembly is movably mounted with the at least one first supporting rod of the body. The upper pressing assembly is movably mounted with the at least one second first supporting rod of the body, and is able to move toward the lower pressing assembly.

A method of crimping a prosthetic valve on a delivery catheter having an inflatable balloon includes releasably attaching a holding mechanism to a shaft of the delivery catheter, wherein the holding mechanism is connected to a crimping device, positioning the prosthetic valve in the crimping device, actuating the crimping device to radially crimp the prosthetic valve onto the balloon or onto the shaft of the delivery catheter at a location adjacent the balloon, and removing the holding mechanism from the delivery catheter after crimping the prosthetic valve.

Disclosed is a method and a device for checking the quality of a crimping of a specified cable with a specified contact sleeve using a sensor system for measuring a force and a displacement of a device for the actuation and/or force application of a crimping unit and using an electronic analysis system. In the method a force/displacement curve is detected during the crimping process and is displayed on a screen, wherein the method has the following steps: a stored reference model is displayed on the screen together with the detected force/displacement curve, said reference model having a first and a second envelope curve which define a tolerance range;—comparing the force/displacement curve with the reference model, thereby ascertaining whether the force/displacement curve lies in the tolerance range; and—arriving at a conclusion regarding the quality of the crimping from the comparison.

Radial press

A radial press is provided having a main structure, a plurality of pressing jaws arranged around a pressing axis, and having a drive unit which acts on the pressing jaws. The drive unit is supported on the main structure and can move the pressing jaws radially in the direction of the pressing axis and away from the same, at least one fibrous structure is provided radially outside the pressing jaws, the fibrous structure enclosing the pressing jaws and extending in annularly closed form around the pressing axis in a plane which is substantially perpendicular to the pressing axis.

The drive unit is supported on the main structure and can move the pressing jaws radially in the direction of the pressing axis and away from the same, at least one fibrous structure is provided radially outside the pressing jaws, the fibrous structure enclosing the pressing jaws and extending in annularly closed form around the pressing axis in a plane which is substantially perpendicular to the pressing axis.
