Multi-layer thermoplastic films and bags with enhanced light transmittance and methods for making the same
Implementations described herein include films with maintained or decreased light transmittance despite a reduction in gauge. In particular, one or more implementations include a multi-layer film with each layer having differing opacity agents. The combination of the two different opacity agents in two different layers can have a synergistic effect that provide decreased light transmittance. Indeed, in one or more embodiments a multi-layer film with differing opacity agents in each layer has a decreased light transmittance despite a reduction in gauge and opacity agents.
Method of making an absorbent core for disposable absorbent article
A method of integrating a first fibrous web with a second fibrous web, said method comprising the steps of: a. providing a first absorbent fibrous web material; b. providing a topsheet comprising a second fibrous web material; c. providing an integrating means; and d. integrating said first absorbent fibrous web material and said second fibrous web material by processing through said integrating means. The step of integrating said first absorbent fibrous web material and said second fibrous web material comprises inter-entangling fibers from the first absorbent fibrous web and fibers from the second fibrous web.

Agriculture storage bags and method to make same
The present invention relates to improvements for agricultural storage bags, more specifically agricultural storage bags having improved shock, tear and puncture resistance, and enhanced stretching properties. The agricultural storage bag has an embossed pattern of a plurality of embossed regions that are comprised of a plurality of linear embosses. Each embossed region is separated by a continuous unembossed region. Further disclosed is a method for forming the improved agricultural storage bags from a collapsed tube formed by a blown film extrusion process. More than one set of intermeshing rollers may be used to apply the embossed pattern to the improved agricultural storage bags. Once the storage bags are embossed, a folding operation may fold the bags into a plurality of annular folds so that the bags may be used with an agricultural bagging machine.

Apparatus for producing easy-to-tear plastic film
An apparatus for producing an easy-to-tear plastic film comprising a pattern roll rotatably supported by a pair of stationary frames, an anvil roll moving along a pair of movable frames, a first driving unit for rotating the movable frames, and second driving units each mounted to the movable frame to move the anvil roll up and down; high-hardness, fine particles projecting from a rolling surface of the pattern roll having such average height and maximum height as enabling the formation of unpenetrating fine pores in a plastic film; with the anvil roll inclined to the pattern roll in a horizontal plane by the operation of the first driving unit, large numbers of unpenetrating fine pores being formed transversely uniformly in the plastic film passing through a gap of both rolls.
Asynchronous spatial LBT
Improvements to asynchronous spatial listen before talk (LBT) procedures are disclosed. In a shared spectrum network spatial LBT procedures are used for directionally targeting the channel reservation process. Prior to transmitting channel reservation signaling, the transmitter and receiver determine an effective interference considering available multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) configuration information. When the effective interference exceeds a predefined threshold, the node may without transmission of its channel reservation signal. Otherwise, when the effective interference remains within the threshold, each node's transmitted channel reservation signal may also identify at least a beamforming matrix either as payload or used to precode the node's channel reservation signal.

Calendering Rolls of Calendering Roll Press for Manufacturing Dry Electrode
A calendering roll of a calendering roll press for manufacturing a dry electrode disposed as a pair to press and elongate an electrode sheet in both directions includes: a cylindrical roll main body installed to extend in a width direction of the electrode sheet; a roll driving shaft installed to pass through a center portion of the roll main body in a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of oil paths formed outside the roll driving shaft to form a flow path through which oil flows, and formed to pass through the roll main body in the longitudinal direction. An interval between the oil path and the roll driving shaft is formed to be largest at both sides of the roll main body in the longitudinal direction, and is formed to be smallest at the center portion of the roll main body.
