METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING MINERAL CONTAINING PELLETS

Methods and apparatuses for forming pellets, such as potash pellets, for example, are provided. The methods involve feeding agglomerate granules on to the operative surface of an assembly of rollers. The rollers are aligned to have parallel central rotational axes and there is a longitudinal gap between adjacent rollers. In order to form the pellets, the rollers are rotated to agitate and abrade the agglomerate granules on the operative surface of the assembly of rollers and form pellets.

Multi-chamber pellet die system

A multi-chamber pellet die system to improve and increase analysis pellet manufacturing capabilities by allowing for multiple pellets or biomaterial scaffolds to be fabricated simultaneously.

Method for compacting powder material

A method for compacting ceramic powder; a layer of uncompacted ceramic powder is conveyed to a pressure device, which has a structured contact surface and comes into contact with the powder material so as to obtain a layer of compacted powder material having a structured surface; the pressure device comprises a first layer and a superficial layer arranged on the first layer; at least part of the superficial layer wears so as to uncover at least part of the first layer and obtain at least areas of the first outwardly exposed layer the areas of the first outwardly exposed layer are hardened by means of irradiation with UV radiations.

In a method of manufacturing objects, extrudable ceramic forming material is extruded through multiple dies arrayed around an extrusion axis, the dies mounted to permit controlled movement of the dies during the course of extrusion to vary the position of several extrudate streams exiting the dies. Extruded objects are defined by spokes corresponding to the extrudate streams with the streams having a varying spacing from a central axis.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING HIGH STRENGTH PRODUCTS

A system and method are presented in which a flow of plastic is extruded to obtain nano-sized features by forming multiple laminated flow streams, flowing in parallel through the non-rotating extrusion system. Each of the parallel laminated flow streams are subjected to repeated steps in which the flows are compressed, divided, and overlapped to amplify the number of laminations. The parallel amplified laminated flows are rejoined to form a combined laminated output with nano-sized features. The die exit is formed to provide a tubular shape.

PRESSING HEAD, DEVICE FOR PRESSING MATERIAL TO BE PRESSED, AND METHOD FOR PRESSING MATERIAL TO BE PRESSED
20190299555 · 2019-10-03 ·

A pressing head (100) for a device for pressing material to be pressed, e.g., an extrusion press for pressing chips. The pressing head (100) comprises at least two pressing channels (1, 1), each having an inlet opening (11, 11) and an outlet opening (12, 12). Each pressing channel (1, 1) has a stationary supporting element (2, 2) and a movable pressing element (3, 3). The pressing element (3, 3) is movable on one side, preferably relative to the supporting element (2, 2). A cross-section (QA) of the pressing channel, at the outlet opening of the pressing channel, can be varied relative to the cross-section (QE) of the pressing channel, at the inlet opening of the pressing channel.
