Deformation Method and Press
In a forming process with a press having in a frame a ram closing through the force of a cylinder with a moveable piston against a press table in a straight-line movement, the piston initially acts upon at least one knuckle joint system during the closing of the press, and a hydraulic cushion of the ram concludes the closing process with extension of the knuckle joint system in movement direction of the piston and straight-line support thereof against the frame. In a press having in a frame a ram closing through the force of a cylinder with a moveable piston against a press table in a straight-line movement, the ram is connected so as to be fixed with respect to the frame via at least two identically constructed knuckle joint systems, and the ram has a hydraulic cushion.
DEVICE FOR COMPRESSING BLOCKS OF INSULATION AND METHOD FOR COMPRESSING BLOCKS OF INSULATION
Devices and methods for compressing thermal insulation material into blocks of insulation are disclosed which include a support surface for the compressed blocks of insulation, a compression device with a compression surface, and a feeding device for feeding thermal insulation material. By adapting the compression device for reciprocal movement between a first position, wherein the feeding device is allowed to feed thermal insulation material to a position on the support surface, and a second position, wherein, during movement from the first position to the second position of the compression device, thermal insulation material fed by the feeding device is compressed, highly compressed blocks of thermal insulation material are obtained that are suitable for use with known shredding devices.
Dual pressure clam press
A press can include an upper platen, a lower platen, a support arm, and an adjuster. The support arm can be adapted to move the upper platen substantially parallel to the lower platen between an open position and a closed position. The adjuster can have a cam adapted to engage a surface of the support arm and to rotate between a first rotational position and a second rotational position relative to the support arm. Rotation of the cam from the first rotational position to the second rotational position can move the upper platen toward the lower platen.
AUTOMATED SPACER FRAME FABRICATION
Method and Apparatus for fabricating a spacer frame for use in an insulating glass unit. One of a multiple number of possible spacer frame materials is chosen for the spacer frame. An elongated strip of the material is moved to a notching station where notches are formed at corner locations. The character of the notches is adjusted based on the selection of the metal strip material and more particularly to achieve bending of the material in an repeatable, straightforward manner. Better control over the notching process is also achieved by exhaust flow control of a double acting cylinder. A positioning spacer achieve very accurate side to side positioning of a die and anvil to precisely notch and deform the metal strip. Downstream from the notching station the metal strip is bent into a channel shaped elongated frame member having side walls. Further downstream a leading strip of channel shaped material is severed or separated from succeeding material still passing through the notching and bending station.
Adjustable joining machine
An adjustable joining machine is provided. In another aspect, a workpiece-joining apparatus includes a punch and/or die with an automatically adjustable joining position. A further aspect employs a workpiece-clinching or piercing apparatus including an automatically adjustable punch and/or die. A method of clinching or piercing workpiece sheets includes changing a position of a punch and/or die based on a sensed workpiece characteristic.
ADJUSTABLE MECHANICAL STOP FOR A FOOD BAKING APPARATUS
The invention relates to a system and method for improvingly controlling the production of food products from granular raw materials such as for instance cereal rice formed into crackers. More in particular, the invention relates to an adjustable mechanical stop mechanism for better controlling the distance between the dies where pressure-baking of food occurs, and to provide the possibility of adjustable distance between the dies in case of multiple compressions of the food material, for which different die spacings can then be installed, leading to very repeatable and unchanging food processing conditions and thus an improved and much more constant quality of end product such as a cracker.

ROLLING APPARATUS
A rolling apparatus includes a roller assembly and a power source. The roller assembly includes four rollers, where the four rollers (110a) are arranged side by side in pairs along a first direction and a second direction intersected with each other, and two rollers arranged side by side define a roll gap therebetween. The power source drives two rollers arranged diagonally to rotate in a same direction around their axes. Two roll gaps defined by one of the two rollers arranged diagonally and the two rollers arranged side by side therewith are used for rolling a first electrode plate twice, and two roll gaps defined by the other one of the two rollers arranged diagonally and the two rollers arranged side by side therewith are used for rolling a second electrode plate twice. In the rolling apparatus, the four rollers form strip moving routes.
Press device and press method
A press device includes: a press head having: a press plate, a chamber base body and an elastic packing; and a provisional pressing unit having: a provisional pressing plate which transmits a provisional pressing force, and a provisional pressing force applying mechanism which gives a provisional pressing force to the provisional pressing plate. A main pressing force is generated to a work placed on a press surface by introducing a pressurized fluid into a chamber from a pressurized fluid source in a state where the elastic packing is deformed by compression by a provisional pressing force. The press device further includes a suppression unit which restricts the displacement of the provisional pressing plate in a counter provisional pressing direction by suppressing the movement of the provisional pressing plate in the counter provisional pressing direction.
DOUBLE-SIDED TRANSCRIPTION TYPE SHEET/FILM FORMING ROLL APPARATUS AND DOUBLE-SIDED TRANSCRIPTION TYPE SHEET/FILM FORMING METHOD
An apparatus includes a first roll and a second roll on each of which a pattern is formed, a first motor and a second motor to rotate the respective rolls, a shaft direction supporting mechanism to support the second roll along a shaft direction and an axial position adjusting mechanism configured to move the shaft direction supporting mechanism along the shaft direction. The posture of the rotating shaft of the second motor is maintained constant at all times, and the second roll is moved in the shaft direction along the first roll, thereby adjusting the positions of both patterns on the first roll and the second roll along the shaft direction.
