Die cushion device and method of controlling the die cushion device
10710138 · 2020-07-14 · ·

A die cushion device includes a hydraulic cylinder that supports a cushion pad and generates die cushion force when the slide of the press machine descends, a first hydraulic circuit that is connected to a cap side hydraulic chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, and a second hydraulic circuit that is connected to a rod side hydraulic chamber. Before die cushion force control starts, the second hydraulic circuit of the die cushion device causes hydraulic oil in the rod side hydraulic chamber to be prevented from flowing out, and the first hydraulic circuit of the die cushion device causes the cap side hydraulic chamber to be pressurized.

Press arrangement with a further processing module

A press arrangement and a method for producing and processing compacts from powder material include a controller, a press frame, a pressing unit being disposed on the press frame for pressing the compact and having a die with a cavity for receiving powder material, at least two punches which, together with the cavity, provide a mold for a compact and at least one drive unit for moving at least one punch relative to the other punch along a pressing axis. A further processing module has at least one processing unit for machining a compact by metal cutting. The controller at least partially ejects or removes a compact from the die after pressing and, after the ejection holds the compact clamped between the punches. The controller uses the processing unit to process a compact being at least partially ejected from the die and held clamped between the punches.

AEROSOL RECYCLING PROCESS AND SYSTEM
20200189222 · 2020-06-18 ·

A process for recycling aerosol cans. The process includes the steps of draining the materials of the aerosol cans, collecting the materials of the aerosol cans, and refining the contents of the aerosol cans into original products that are available for resale. The step of draining the materials of aerosol cans is done by crushing the aerosol cans in an inert atmosphere and creating a metal brick from the aerosol cans. The materials are then drained into separator tanks where they can be separated and refined for resale.

COMPACTOR SYSTEM AND RELATED BALING AND RECYCLING METHOD
20200164608 · 2020-05-28 · ·

A recycling method includes the steps of compacting recyclable material into a fixed bale, and weighing the recyclable material, using load cells, independently of the compacting forces. Compacting equipment for performing the method includes balers with load cells and anchors, with the load cells weighing the baler and the recyclable material in the baler, and with the anchors anchoring the baler in place without interfering with the weighing.

FRUIT PRESS FOR CITRUS FRUITS
20200093169 · 2020-03-26 · ·

A fruit press for citrus fruits may have a press head which carries out a press stroke and which may have two receiving dies arranged on both sides of a knife, and may be pivotable in opposite directions via parallel shafts between an upper receiving position and a lower pressing position for one half-fruit each. The fruit press may include two sliding guides for the half-fruits extending on both sides of the knife and following the outer orbital path of the receiving dies, and may further include punches which are associated with the press head and which, in the lower press position of the press head, cooperate with the receiving dies. The sliding guides may have flexurally elastic slideways which project into the effective region of the punches and which may be bent out into the receiving dies by the punches during the pressing stroke.
