The invention relates to an impeller filling shoe for material feed to die bores of a rotary press, which is built-up modularly in order to enable a change in function between a 2-chamber filling shoe comprising a filling vaned wheel and a proportioning vaned wheel, and a 3-chamber filling shoe comprising a filling vaned wheel, a proportioning vaned wheel and a feeding vaned wheel, wherein the impeller filling shoe does not comprise a gearbox for driving the vaned wheels. Furthermore, the invention relates to a rotary press comprising the modular impeller filling shoe, whereby the gearbox for driving the vaned wheels is located outside the impeller filling shoe. The invention relates in addition to the use of the impeller filling shoe according to the invention in methods for converting the modular impeller filling shoe from a 2-chamber filling shoe to a 3-chamber filling shoe and vice versa. The functional conversion of the impeller filling shoe can take place both outside the tablet press as well as in the mounted state inside the tablet press.

Powder supplier

A powder supplier, which supplies a powder material to a pressure molding mechanism that continuously generates a molded body, including: a casing having an inlet to which the powder material is supplied and an outlet from which the powder material is discharged; one or a plurality of screws being disposed inside the casing and rotationally driven to transport the powder material in an axial direction; motors being disposed outside the casing and rotationally driving screws; and a regulator being disposed between the screws, and the outlet inside the casing, and regulating a flow of the powder material. The regulator has a rotation shaft perpendicular to the axial direction of the screws, and a width direction of the powder material discharged from the outlet, and being configured to rotate about the rotation shaft.

Device and method for manufacturing multilayer molded article

A die having a cavity and a lower punch fitted into the cavity. The cavity is divided and the parts slide along a division plane passing through the cavity parallel to the fitting direction of the die and the lower punch. The divided cavity parts are placed in a state of alignment along the division plane. The divided cavity parts are each filled with raw material powder. The die and the lower punch are then slid along the division plane, whereby the divided cavity parts are combined as the original cavity. The raw material powder in the cavity in a combined state is compressed by an upper punch and the lower punch.

FILLING APPARATUS FOR A ROTARY PRESS AND A SYSTEM FOR CONTINUOUSLY PROCESSING PULVERULENT PRODUCTS

A filling apparatus for filling cavities of a rotary press includes a filling chamber defining an inlet opening through which filling material enters the filling chamber and an outlet opening through which filling material exits into the cavities of the rotary press. A conveyor wheel is positioned in the filling chamber and defines a plurality of conveyor pockets structured to receive the filing material. The conveyor wheel is rotatable relative to the filling chamber about an axis of rotation arranged at an angle (α) to a vertical axis. The plurality of conveyor pockets are arranged along a circular path and are rotated along the inlet opening and along the outlet opening when the conveyor wheel is rotated about the axis of rotation. The filling material received in each of the plurality of the plurality of conveyor pockets is conveyed from the inlet opening to the outlet opening.
