The invention relates to a rotary press having height-staggered ram tips for carrying out at least two pressing operations, which preferably build on one another. Furthermore, the invention relates particularly to rotary presses and methods for producing multi-layer and coating-core tablets and for pressing tablets into cups during a rotation.

A rotary tablet press including a rotor which has a die plate for producing tablets inside die openings by means of press punch pairs, and with a discharge device being assigned to a tablet outlet for supplying tablets either singulated to a first tablet channel or as a tablet stream to a second tablet channel, wherein the tablet outlet has at least one first outlet channel for good tablets and a second outlet channel for faulty tablets, the first and/or the second tablet channel have at least one channel through-passage enclosed by lateral boundaries, wherein a sensor device which is coupled to the process control device and which is configured for scanning the entire cross section of the channel through-passage is assigned thereto for generating a sensor signal when a body passes through the associated channel through-passage.

A dust solidification apparatus comprising: an apparatus body; a hopper for storing dust D, the hopper being provided on the apparatus body; a forming member provided within the hopper, the forming member having a forming hole; and a pressurizing rod that is configured to freely advance and withdraw with respect to the forming hole, wherein the pressurizing rod advances into the forming hole to solidify dust loaded therein, thereby obtaining a solidified substance K, and openings of the forming hole are open within the hopper.

A removal apparatus for removing pellets from a die plate of a rotary press comprises a housing and a first channel positioned on the housing and configured to receive pellets removed from the die plate. A guide element is arranged on the housing and positioned over the die plate. The guide element is configured to guide pellets produced in the rotary press from the die plate into the first channel. The guide element and the first channel are moveably mounted on the housing. A plurality of mechanical positioning elements are configured to be alternatively inserted into the housing and cooperate with the guide element and the first channel to movably position the guide element and the first channel relative to the housing. Each of the mechanical positioning elements defines a different position of one of the guide element and the first channel relative to the housing.

A removal apparatus for removing pellets from a die plate of a rotary press comprises a housing and a first channel positioned on the housing and configured to receive pellets removed from the die plate. A guide element is arranged on the housing and positioned over the die plate. The guide element is configured to guide pellets produced in the rotary press from the die plate into the first channel. The guide element and the first channel are moveably mounted on the housing. A plurality of mechanical positioning elements are configured to be alternatively inserted into the housing and cooperate with the guide element and the first channel to movably position the guide element and the first channel relative to the housing. Each of the mechanical positioning elements defines a different position of one of the guide element and the first channel relative to the housing.

An apparatus for crushing aluminum beverage cans, including; a containment structure with an integral crushing chamber, a pneumatic crushing cylinder with a hub type crushing head which ensures the can remains inside the crushing chamber during the crushing event, an ejection cylinder with an ejection ram, solenoid control valves, a safety interlock switch and a 3 position control switch, an air/gas supply and distribution system and an electrical control system. Two pneumatic cylinders; which are supplied air via two 3-way solenoid control valves, are used to perform the crushing and ejection work. Simultaneous two handed switch operation is required to energize either of the 3-way solenoid control valves to route air to the pneumatic cylinders. Two handed switch operation ensures that the operator's hands are free of the crushing chamber during operation.

Furthermore, the hand press has a pressing device, which is arranged essentially inside the housing and which has a first pressing surface, and an actuating device, which is connected via a rotary shaft with at least one lever, which is rotatably mounted with the pressing device.

The invention relates to a hand press for pressing a package, the hand press having a housing, which has at least one first opening for the inserting the package and at least one second opening for the disposing of the package.
