A conveyance device 1 that conveys articles, the conveyance device 1 including a circulation path 10 and movable modules 20 that are movable on the circulation path 10. A main container 31 on which an article can be placed and a pair of holding members 311, 312 able to move towards and away from each other are provided to some of the movable modules 20. The article is placed on the main container 31 and conveyed on the circulation path 10 while being held by the pair of holding members 311, 312.

A taping apparatus includes a support arm movable in a first direction and a second direction. The first direction is opposite the second direction. The taping member is movably connected with the support arm. The taping member is movable in a third direction and a fourth direction. The third direction is opposite the fourth direction. The taping member includes a first guide member, a second guide member, and a cutting member positioned between the first guide member and the second guide member. The support arm is movably connected with a track that is rotatable from a first position to a second position. The taping apparatus is configured to tape containers of various dimensions and orientations.

Provided herein is a machine for forming a container from a blank including a tray and a lid. The machine has an upstream end where the blank is loaded and a downstream end where the container is discharged and includes a frame, a pre-forming assembly, and a mandrel assembly. The pre-forming assembly is configured to partially form the lid and the tray by folding each of a plurality of side panels of the blank and further form the tray by partially folding a front panel assembly of the blank, the front panel assembly including a front panel and a roll-over panel. The mandrel assembly is mounted to the frame and configured to engage a bottom panel of the tray to form each of a plurality of corners of the tray and fold the roll-over panel to form a front wall of the container.

A box tab and panel folding and closing apparatus is provided having a tab and panel guide member and a tab hold down member. The tab and panel guide member has a first tab progressively curved guide surface, a panel progressively curved guide surface provided at least in part downstream of the tab progressively curved guide surface, and a second tab progressively curved guide surface downstream of the first tab progressively curved guide surface. The tab hold down member and the tab progressively curved guide surface provide a tab guide slot configured to progressively urge the box tab to fold relative to a contiguous box panel. The panel progressively curved guide surface urges the box panel angularly into a closing position while tucking the contiguous tab in an open end of the box by engaging the tab against the second tab progressively curved guide surface.
