UNINTERRUPTED BAG MAKING AND FOLDING MACHINE
An uninterrupted bag making and folding machine includes multiple server power sources electrically connected to a control unit, which instructs a conveyance unit to deliver a film tube through a sealing unit, a perforating unit and a waste breaking device for processing into finished bags, and a folding unit for folding each finished bag to reduce the size for storage. The invention enables the film tube to be continuously delivered at a constant speed and processed through a sealing process, a waste breaking process and a finished bag folding process, accelerating the finished bag fabrication speed and improving the production capacity.
BAGS WITH MARKS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A method of manufacturing a roll of bags includes: moving a layflat tubing from a feed end toward a produce end of a workstation; sealing the layflat tubing to form sealing lines along a width direction of the layflat tubing; punching the layflat tubing to form punching lines along the width direction; spraying, by a coding machine coupled to the workstation, at least one counting mark on the layflat tubing; cutting by the workstation, the layflat tubing along the width direction to form connected bags; and winding the connected bags into the roll of bags. The connected bags are separated by the punching lines, each bag has one of the sealing lines, and at least one bag has the at least one sprayed counting mark that counts its relative position in the roll of bags.
Hybrid inserter/wrapper system
The invention is a hybrid inserter/wrapper system comprising a hybrid inserter/wrapper system comprising a modular document inserter system and a unique wrapper-like envelope creation module operably connected thereto. The wrapper-like envelope creation module is configured to operate in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the wrapper-like envelope creation module is configured to fabricate wrapper-like outer envelopes and feed such outer envelopes to the inserter system. In the second mode, the wrapper-like envelope creation module is configured to allow the inserter to be loaded with premade envelopes and feed such envelopes to the inserter system. In either mode, the document inserter system further carries out downstream operations to thereby produce a finished mailpiece.
Bagger with padding expansion
A bagger device is provided. The bagger device can include a bag handler configured to handle packaging material configured to define a bag that has first and second walls enclosing an interior cavity configured to contain an object therein for shipping, the first wall including an expansion material that has an expandable configuration and that is expandable to an expanded configuration for providing padding to the first wall to protect the object contained within the interior cavity. The bagger device can further include an expansion device configured to apply expanding conditions to the packaging material, the expanding conditions configured to cause the expandable material to expand from the expandable configuration to the expanded configuration.
HYBRID INSERTER/WRAPPER SYSTEM

Zipper tape-equipped bag body, article housing method for zipper tape-equipped bag body, manufacturing method for zipper tape-equipped bag body, and manufacturing device for zipper tape-equipped bag body
A female belt-shaped base is attached to a bag body at a region from a female hook to a first end near an open end of the bag body and to a second end near a housing space. A male belt-shaped base is attached to the bag body only in a bonding region without being attached at a region from a position where an engagement portion is continuously attached to a first end near the open end of the bag body.
