A pinch bottom sack fillable with bulk good includes a sleeve with at least one area element, wherein the sleeve includes a mesh and the area element a handle means including a load element at which a load force is applicable for lifting the sack, and the load element is configured such that it extends at least in some areas at least in a load condition in which the load force acts at the load element opposite to an outer side of the area element.

Method and system for manufacturing bags

A system and method of manufacturing reinforced bags having reinforcing elements applied about the bags to support the bags in an opened and/or upstanding configuration. A web of bag material can be fed from a supply and can be folded and secured to form the bags. A series of reinforcing strips can be fed through an adhesive application station for application of an adhesive material thereto in a desired pattern. The reinforcing strips and bags are brought into registration and are adhesively attached to form the reinforced bags.

The thermal bag (2) is made of thermally insulating composite material folded to form a bottom and welded along lateral borders (3) to form a body (1) of the bag with a mouth (5) at the level of which a handle (7A, 7B) is applied. The composite material defines a bottom folded in an accordion-like fashion opposite the mouth of the bag, and a laminar stiffening element (15) of the accordion-like bottom is disposed inside the bag.

A pouch container has a gas filling space therein, and includes a first wall section and a second wall section. The first wall section includes a first tongue-shaped portion. The second wall section includes a second tongue-shaped portion and overlapping the first tongue-shaped portion. A projection length of the second tongue-shaped portion is longer than that of the first tongue-shaped portion. A gas injection portion is provided in which an injection port communicating with the gas filling space is formed by joining both end portions of both the first tongue-shaped portion and the second tongue-shaped portion in a width direction, and the injection port is defined by a tip end portion of the first tongue-shaped portion in a projection direction and the second tongue-shaped portion at a portion facing the tip end portion.

First and second panel webs are superposed on each other and fed in their longitudinal direction. After a side gusset is temporarily fixed to the second panel web, the side gusset is divided by a dividing device to form a pair of open edges. The open edges are aligned with a line of weakness of the first panel web when the first and second panel webs are superposed on each other. The side gusset is temporarily sealed to the first and second panel webs by a temporary seal device to form temporary sealed sections. The first panel web is guided to be divided along its line of weakness and to be folded on the sides of its division edges. This guiding of the panel web and the temporary sealed sections cause the side gusset to be opened at the open edges to form open surfaces. An end face web is then disposed on the panel web to be superposed on folded parts of the panel web and the open surfaces of the side gusset.

The spout-equipped container includes a container and a spout. The spout includes a spout main body, an opening body accommodated in a cylinder of the spout main body, an activating body which moves the opening body, and a hermetically-sealing sheet which covers an inner opening which fronts an accommodating unit in the spout main body. The opening body is formed so as not to be get out of the spout main body, is formed so as to move toward the hermetically-sealing sheet, and has its center where a spout through hole is formed. The hermetically-sealing sheet is formed so as to be partially torn by the opening body to make the accommodating unit of the container and an outer opening of the spout main body communicate with outside via the spout through hole of the opening body, and is formed so that an accommodated substance is poured outside.

A handled shipping bag or sack is described that is capable of manufacture without requiring registration of the handle to a width of the bag. The shipping bag includes a cover tape having perforations particularly well suited for finger holds of a user that center the users hand relative to the width of the bag without requiring a registration of the finger holds relative to the bag during the manufacture of the bag.

Method of making a woven plastic bag

A woven plastic bag is made by longitudinally feeding flat-lying fabric web having a layer of woven-together plastic strips on a first face, opposite longitudinal edge regions spaced transversely from each other and each extending over about 10% of a transverse width of the fabric web, and a middle section between the longitudinal edge regions. A pattern is applied the first face of the fabric web in a pattern that repeats along the production direction only locally with a coating in the form of a film or in the form of a liquid plastic of a width or shape that varies transversely, and the fabric web is shaped into a fabric tube. In order to form individual woven plastic bags, the fabric tube is cut transversely into pieces of the fabric tube suitable for subsequent filling and sealing.

Thermoplastic bags with complex stretch patterns

A thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film further includes a plurality of web areas positioned about the plurality of raised rib-like elements. The plurality of raised rib-like elements and plurality of web areas are arranged in a complex pattern. The complex pattern provides visual and tactile cues as the films are stretched or elongated. The complex pattern can cause the thermoplastic film to have a complex stretch profile.
