LINER FOR AN OVERPACK ASSEMBLY
An overpack assembly and a method of making an overpack assembly is disclosed. The overpack assembly includes a liner positioned within an overpack. In one embodiment, the method includes making a liner including providing a first sheet including a fitment positioned over a second sheet, the first sheet attached to the second sheet along an attachment seam at an entire perimeter edge. The first sheet is pulled apart from the second sheet at a center of the liner, forming a three-dimensional liner with triangular wings. A vertical seam is formed across each triangular wing, the vertical seam being perpendicular to the attachment seam, where a length of the vertical seam corresponds to the height of the liner when in use. The liner is positioned within the overpack.
Visually Enhanced Tab File System
A tab system for a folder (10a), and a method of making same is disclosed. The tab is enlarged to carry more information/indicia. The visual indicia space (16a), i.e. the viewable space on the front (32a, 36a) of the folder which allows viewing of the enlarged tab is achieve without violating the overall size restrictions (40a) of the file folder. Instead, the front of the folder adjacent to the tab on the back panel, is cut away (32a,34a) to expose a greater portion of the back panel (14a) and allow an increase in visual indicia space. The remaining portion of the front panel, not adjacent to the tab may also be cut away (34a) to allow other enlarged tab files, with offset tabs,(22, 21a) to be viewable behind the present file.

BAG MAKING APPARATUS AND BAG MAKING METHOD
A bag making apparatus includes an intermittent feed device for feeding sheet panels, an adjustment device for detecting upper and lower thresholds for a length of the sheet panels included in a section from a first drive roller pair to a second drive roller pair, a movement device for moving a processing device and a sensor together as a movable group in the longitudinal direction of the sheet panels. The movement device moves the movable group upstream in response to the adjustment device detecting the upper threshold and moves the movable group downstream in response to the adjustment device detecting the lower threshold. If the movable group is moved, the intermittent feed device determines an intermittent feed distance based on a moving distance of the movable group in addition to output from the sensor and feeds the sheet panels by the determined distance using the first drive roller pair.
CRIMPED CUSHIONED ENVELOPES AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
A cushioned envelope is formed from a laminated material that includes a cushioning web and a shell web. The outer side of the cushioning web is laminated to the inner side of the shell web. A crimping adhesive is applied to first and second transverse seams of the inner side of the cushioning web. The laminated web material is crimped so that each of the first and second transverse seams on the inner side of the cushioning web is folded in on itself. The folded laminated web material is crimped at the first transverse seam and at the second transverse seam. The crimped laminated web material is cut at a location in the first transverse seam and at a location in the second transverse seam.
Packaging bag, apparatus and method for manufacturing film material of the packaging bag, and method of manufacturing the packaging bag
The invention discloses a packaging bag and an apparatus and a method for manufacturing film material of the packaging bag, and a method of manufacturing the packaging bag. The processing of the portable portion is conducted by the apparatus for manufacturing film material, and the prepared film material is made into a packaging bag finally. In the technical solution of the invention, by adding a handle structure on the side portion of the big-sized packaging bag, the bag structure of the invention is easy to carry or move the packaging bag and the product within the packaging bag that is large in weight, structure, and size. The packaging bag of the present invention has a simple structure, which is convenient to use and process, improving the practicality and usability of the bag.
FLEXIBLE PACKAGE-FORMING MACHINE FOR HORIZONTAL PACKAGING BY MEANS OF FOLDING AND WELDING A FLEXIBLE BAND AND METHOD
The present invention relates to a machine comprising: an unwinding unit (11) for unwinding a flexible band (1), a folding unit (14) of a flexible band (1), a drive unit (31) configured for moving the flexible band (1) in a forward movement direction (DA), a welding unit (16) and a cutting unit (17) for cutting the flexible band, wherein the cutting unit (17) is a laser beam cutting unit (53) separating each individual flexible package from the flexible band (1) and providing a fill opening in each flexible package by means of at least one fill opening cut. The laser beam cutting unit (53) has associated therewith a separator device, movable in a vertical direction and including an insertable separator element (41), interposed between the opposite faces of the folded flexible band (1), in an area adjacent to the fill opening (3), for separating the opposite faces of the flexible band (1) during cutting operations to prevent the fusion thereof.
Valve Bag and Method and System for Producing a Valve Bag
The invention relates to a valve bag, in particular a cross-bottom valve bag, comprising a first wall and a second wall, which are joined to each other by means of side edges or side folds and by means of bottoms and which delimit a bag interior, comprising a valve, which is arranged in one of the bottoms and via which the bag interior can be filled with a filling material, and comprising venting openings in the first and/or in the second wall for venting the bag interior. At least one channel is provided on the outside of at least one wall, which channel covers the venting openings and is formed at least by two parallel fastening strips and by a cover strip, the cover strip likewise comprising venting openings, and wherein the shortest path between the parallel fastening strips along the cover strip is longer than the shortest path along the at least one wall or the cover strip, and/or the parallel fastening strips consist of stretchable material.
Packaging bag and method for manufacturing packaging bag
A packaging bag is formed in a bag shape by overlapping of a laminated film and a laminated film facing each other, and unsealed by cutting of a predetermined section. The packaging bag includes a zipper for opening and closing an opening, the zipper being provided along edges of the opening formed by the unsealing, a linear cut section that is formed in a functional layer of the laminated film so as to be parallel to the zipper, and becomes the edge of the opening by the unsealing of the packaging bag, and a linear cut section that is formed at a different level from the cut section in a functional layer of the laminated film so as to be parallel to the zipper, and becomes the edge of the opening by the unsealing of the packaging bag.
