Container with insulating features
A container for containing a cold fluid. The container includes a sidewall construct that includes an inner sidewall extending at least partially around an interior of the container, an outer sleeve attached to the inner sidewall, and a cavity defined between the inner sidewall and the outer sleeve. The container also includes a closed bottom defining a bottom of the interior of the container, and insulating features that include the cavity and a plurality of annular bands, each annular band of the plurality of annular bands includes a spacer that extends in the cavity from the inner sidewall to the outer sleeve. Adjacent bands define a respective pocket of a plurality of pockets in the cavity such that the insulating features maintain a desired temperature of the cold fluid.
BUFFER STRUCTURE, PACKAGING SET, AND BUFFER STRUCTURE FORMING METHOD
A buffer structure includes at least one internal main layer, at least one external main layer, and a rib portion. An inner side of the internal main layer forms an accommodating space, and the external main layer surrounds an outer side of the internal main layer. The rib portion is located between two first folding lines and forms a ring shape. The two first folding lines are parallel to each other. One of the two first folding lines is connected to the internal main layer, and the other one of the two first folding lines is connected to the external main layer. The rib portion is connected between the internal main layer and the external main layer.
Device and method for applying a protective element to a packaging
The invention relates to a device and a method for applying a protective element to a packaging. A packaging may be, for example, a cardboard box or a folding box, in or into which one or more objects may be placed. Such an object may be an element from the furniture and component industry, in particular one or more furniture parts, such as floor panels, boards, cabinet elements, furniture accessories or the like.
INSULATION PRODUCTS AND METHODS AND MACHINES FOR MAKING INSULATION PRODUCTS
The presently disclosed subject matter generally relates to recyclable insulation material for shipping containers, groceries bags, etc., machines for making the recyclable insulation material, and methods for the making the recyclable insulation material. In one aspect, a method of forming an insulation product may include forming a continuous sheet of paper into a plurality of flexible loops defining a plurality of air channels extending in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction of the continuous sheet of paper. The method may also include immediately attaching a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper to the plurality of flexible loops as they are formed so that the continuous sheet of paper retains the plurality of flexible loops between the first layer and the second layer and that the plurality of flexible loops remain unattached with respect to one another.
PACKAGING OF FOOD PRODUCTS AND ASSOCIATED PACKAGING DEVICE
The invention relates to packaging of a food product comprising a container and at least one film for insulating the food product in place in the container, said film being adapted to be attached to at least one part (6, 7, 8, 9) of the container. The container is made of cardboard or is cellulose-based, adapted to change from a first configuration in the form of a flat sheet (12) provided with pre-cuts or cutouts (17) to a second configuration, in which the folded sheet (12) defines a volume for receiving a food product and in that maintaining the shape of the container in the second configuration is carried out by attaching at least one film for insulating the food product to at least one part (8, 9) of the container. The invention also relates to a packaging device with such packaging.
Packaging and method of manufacturing same
A packaging for foodstuff, including a base blank adapted to be erected into a carton for containing the foodstuff therein, the base blank including a liner paper that forms an internal surface of the carton and which has a release coating applied thereto; a lid blank adapted to form a lid that is securable to the carton so as to enclose the foodstuff within the carton, the lid blank including a liner paper that forms an internal surface of the lid which has a release coating applied thereto such that at least a part of the lid blank remains uncoated to permit bonding of the lid to an uncoated surface of the carton, wherein, the release coating is contactable with the food stuff and capable of providing clean release therefrom.
CONTAINER PRECURSOR, IN PARTICULAR FOR PRODUCING A DIMENSIONALLY STABLE FOODSTUFF CONTAINER, HAVING A SHEETLIKE COMPOSITE, A FIRST AND A SECOND WALL REGION
The present invention refers to a container precursor, comprising a sheetlike composite; wherein the sheetlike composite comprises as a layer sequence in a direction from an outer surface of the sheetlike composite to an inner surface of the sheetlike composite a) an outer polymer layer, b) a colour application, c) a carrier layer, and d) a barrier layer; wherein the sheetlike composite forms a wall of the container precursor; wherein the wall a. at least partly surrounds an interior of the container precursor, and b. comprises a first wall region and a second wall region; wherein the first wall region partly comprises as a layer sequence from the interior outwards a first ply, a second ply, and a third ply, in each case of the sheetlike composite; wherein in the first wall region the first ply is bonded to the second ply and the second ply is bonded to the third ply; wherein the second wall region partly comprises as a layer sequence from the interior outwards the first ply, the second ply, and the third ply, in each case of the sheetlike composite; wherein in the second wall region the second ply is bonded to the third ply; wherein at least the carrier layer and the barrier layer extend into the first ply, the second ply, and the third ply; wherein in the first wall region: in the second ply a layer thickness of the carrier layer is less than in the first ply, or in the third ply, or in both; wherein in the second wall region: in the third ply a layer thickness of the carrier layer is more than in the first ply, or in the second ply, or in both. The invention further refers to a closed container, obtainable from the container precursor; and to a closed container having the above sheetlike composite, the first and the second wall region.
