Method and device for fitting reinforcements on a cardboard packaging cutout, and corresponding packaging
The invention relates to a method, a device and packaging obtained by way of the method, for fitting at least one reinforcement at a given location on a cutout of cardboard sheet or corrugated cardboard suitable for forming the packaging. The blank is removed from a store with the aid of unstacking means comprising a longitudinal structure with a given shape, the blank is transferred horizontally above a template for forming said blank, the blank is compressed between the template and said longitudinal structure, the blank thus configured is transferred with glue being applied to the side edges and the blank thus glued is applied to the cutout at the given location so as to form the reinforcement of said packaging.
MULTI-SIDED REINFORCED CONTAINER
A multi-sided container has more than four sides and foldable panels integrally arranged with respect to each other. A first panel and a second panel form a contiguity with a first fold line disposed therebetween. The first panel and a third panel form a contiguity with a second fold line disposed therebetween. The third panel is not parallel with and not orthogonal to the first panel. A first strength reinforcement feature includes a first slot having a first planar edge oriented orthogonal to the first panel and orthogonal to a z-axis, and a second planar edge oriented orthogonal to the second panel and parallel to the z-axis. The third panel includes a cut edge proximate the first fold line having a third planar edge oriented orthogonal to the third panel and orthogonal to the z-axis. The third planar edge is disposed in a same plane as the first planar edge.
Reinforced polygonal containers and blanks for making the same
A blank of sheet material for forming a polygonal container is provided. The blank includes a bottom panel, two opposing side panels, two opposing end panels, and a reinforcing panel assembly extending from a first side edge of a first end panel of the two end panels. The reinforcing panel assembly includes a corner panel extending from the first side edge of the first end panel, a first reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the corner panel, a second reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the first reinforcing side panel, a reinforcing corner panel extending from a side edge of the second reinforcing side panel, and an inner end panel extending from a side edge of the reinforcing corner panel. The corner panel and the reinforcing corner panel are configured, upon articulation of the blank, to be positioned into face-to-face relationship to form a corner wall of the container extending from a side edge of an end wall of the container to an end edge of a side wall of the container.
A METHOD FOR REALISING A BLANK FOR BOXING ONE OR MORE ARTICLES FROM A CARDBOARD SHEET FOR PACKAGING, AND A RELATIVE MACHINE
A method for realising a cardboard blank for boxing articles comprising: arranging a first support having first and second scoring tools; a second support having third and fourth scoring tools; detecting and memorising the dimensions of articles; adjusting the distance between the first and the second scoring tool so the first and score lines are parallel to the advancement direction (D); moving the first support (5) so that third and fourth score lines are oblique to the advancement direction (D); moving the first and second scoring tools so they realise a fifth score line (18) which is transversal to the advancement direction (D); moving the second support so that sixth and seventh score lines are oblique to the advancement direction (D); moving the third and the fourth scoring tool so they realise an eighth score line which is transversal to the advancement direction (D).
CONTAINER WITH A REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
A blank of sheet material for forming a container is provided. The blank of sheet material includes at least one major bottom panel, two opposing side panels, and two opposing end panels. Each end panel includes a plurality of fold lines that define two opposing side edges, a first minor end panel, a second minor end panel, and at least two reinforcement panels positioned between the two side edges. The at least two reinforcement panels are configured to move inwardly towards an interior cavity of the container forming a reinforcement structure when the container is formed.
Packing box and box manufacturing apparatus
A packing box has a bottom panel, end panels raised from first edges of the bottom panel, side panels arranged adjacently to the end panels, edge panels connected to side edges of the end panels via outer panel fold lines, fold-back panels arranged on inner side surfaces of the edge panels, inner panels arranged on inner side surfaces of the end panels, and reinforcing panels continuously formed with the fold-back panels via first fold lines and the inner panels via second fold lines. The reinforcing panel 16 is formed in an inwardly projecting manner between the fold-back panel and the inner panel. Any of the first and second fold lines positioned on a side closer to the outer panel fold line than a projecting top portion is arranged away from the outer panel fold line by a distance.
Method for realising cartons for packing and an apparatus actuating the method
A method and an apparatus for realizing cartons for packing includes feeding a cardboard band (2) for packing along an advancement direction (A) which is parallel to the development direction of the cardboard band (2) and making a first score line (II) and a second score line (12) on the cardboard band (2), so as: to identify a central sector; a first lateral sector (4), and a second lateral sector (5). The method further includes identifying regions of band (8) on the carton (2), making on each region of band (8) at least a first cut (21), a second cut (22), a third cut (23) and a fourth cut (24) oriented transversally so that a first closing wing (49), a first reinforcing wing (51) a second reinforcing wing (52), a second closing wing (50), a third reinforcing wing (53) and a fourth reinforcing wing (54) are defined. The band of carton (2) is cut transversally so as to separate the regions of band (8) from one another, thus obtaining cartons (I) for packing.

Machine and method for assembling boxes
A machine for assembling boxes comprising five independent parts including two head walls, two side walls and a base with peripheral flanges that engage with grooves in a lower portion of the side walls and the head walls. Ends of the head walls have end tongues that are inserted into notches adjacent to ends of the side walls. The machine includes a central assembly station comprising a base ring inside which a stationary forming die is disposed. A base of a box to be formed is positioned on a lower face of the stationary forming die such that while the base of the box is held in position, horizontal push devices are activated which move the head walls and the side walls towards the base of the box which is locked in position against the lower face of the stationary forming die.
REINFORCED CORE CARDBOARD CASKET
A cardboard casket includes a top piece and a bottom piece. The top piece is formed by making a single press die cut in a reinforced core cardboard panel, including cutting the reinforced core cardboard panel to form the top piece and forming seams in the top piece. The bottom piece is formed by making another single press die cut in another reinforced core cardboard panel, including cutting the other reinforced core cardboard panel to form the bottom piece and forming seams in the bottom piece. Cutting the top and bottom pieces includes cutting through a first layer, a reinforced core, and a second layer of the reinforced core cardboard panels. Forming seams in the top and bottom pieces includes deforming the first layer in the seams, deforming a majority of the reinforced core in the seams, and leaving the second layer in the seam uncut.
