Sheet bonding method, sheet bonding device, and transfusion bag
A sheet bonding device includes a pressurization mold which is constituted of an upper mold and a lower mold and performs sealing through heating by sandwiching a sealing target portion of a bag main body and a sealing target portion of a gas barrier function sheet with pressurization surfaces; a plurality of support pins which are provided in the lower mold so as to be retractable and position the gas barrier function sheet with respect to one surface of the bag main body by penetrating the sealing target portions of the bag main body and the gas barrier function sheet; and gas spray means for making the gas barrier function sheet float by spraying inert gas to an area-enlarged portion, which does not overlap the bag main body, of the gas barrier function sheet supported by the support pins.
Flexible containers and methods of forming the same
A method for sealing and cutting of a flexible material for forming a flexible container comprising a product volume and at least one structural support volume can include feeding at least two flexible material into a sealing apparatus comprising a sealing surface and an opposed anvil surface; contacting a seam region of the at least two flexible material with the sealing surface to form a seal in the seam region and cut the seal to form a seam in a single unit operation. The seal defines one or both of at least a portion of a boundary of the product volume and at least a portion of a boundary of the at least one structural support volume.
Ovenable heat-sealed package
A package comprises a heat seal between a first film and a second film. The first film comprises at least 70% of one or more polyamides. The first film also comprises at least one modified layer comprising (1) at least 70% of one or more polyamides and (2) one or more modifiers selected from ethylene/alkyl(meth)acrylate copolymers, ethylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymers, and ionomers. The second film comprises at least 70%) of one or more polyamides. The package is useful under ovenable conditions.
STITCHLESS BULK BAG WITH HEAT FUSED SEAMS AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION
A stitchless highly oriented polypropylene fabric bulk bag of the type that can hold 500 to 5000 pounds (226.7 to 2268 kilograms) of bulk material includes a highly oriented polypropylene fabric top, body and bottom, with a heat fused joint providing an air tight connection between the top and body, and another air tight heat fused joint connecting the body and bottom. A fill spout and discharge tube may also be provided with an air tight heat fused joint connecting the fill spout to the top and another air tight heat fused joint connecting the discharge spout to the bottom. Heat sealing machinery include heat seal bar assemblies that can self-align during heat-sealing to apply even pressure to all areas being heat sealed. A heating element is of single piece construction and can include end coupler portions as part of the single piece construction. Carrier plates used in a heat-sealing assembly line guide parts placement, provide quality checks for parts placement, and tooling set-up for machinery.
Pouch with smooth sides
The present invention relates to a container having consumer friendly sides. The container has a front panel and a back panel, each having an exterior surface. A side sealed portion of the container is folded over and secured to the exterior surface of container. The side sealed portion having at least one angled portion. Securing the side sealed portion to the exterior surface of the container forms a smooth side with the portion of the container that is folded over, or flexed, to allow the side sealed portion to be secured to the front or back panel. A method for forming the container assembly, and a machine for manufacturing the container assembly are also disclosed.
Method and System for Manufacturing Bags
A system and method of manufacturing reinforced bags having reinforcing elements applied about the bags to support the bags in an opened and/or upstanding configuration. A web of bag material can be fed from a supply and can be folded and secured to form the bags. A series of reinforcing strips can be fed through an adhesive application station for application of an adhesive material thereto in a desired pattern. The reinforcing strips and bags are brought into registration and are adhesively attached to form the reinforced bags.
Method and Device for Forming at Least One Bottom on a Hose Piece
The invention relates to a method for forming at least one bottom on a hose piece (20), which comprises plastic material, wherein at least one end of the hose piece is pulled open along at least one first folding edge (21), a bottom rectangle (22) and triangular pockets (23) thus being formed; wherein side tabs (25, 26) of the bottom rectangle are folded back along two folding edges (24) spaced apart from the first folding edge in order to close the bottom, wherein the two side tabs then contact each other, and wherein a bottom cover sheet (31) is applied to the bottom and is connected to the side tabs and at least one triangular pocket by application of heat or by means of glue. The surfaces of the side tabs that come into contact and the triangular pockets are connected to each other at least in the region of the two folding edges, a connection (32) thus being formed.
Flexible box bag comprising soluble unit dose detergent pouch
A detergent product including a flexible box bag and soluble unit dose detergent pouch.
Method for manufacturing a large-capacity flexible container, flexible container obtained, and corresponding packaging
A method for manufacturing a flexible container including a body, a base including an emptying spout and a cover including a filling spout, includes: cutting, from a sheet of flexible material, four main panels of the body and the base and four cover panels, each main panel having a square or rectangular shape having four sides, the bottom side being extended by an approximately trapezoidal extension, whose end towards the bottom is extended by a tab, the extension and tab forming the base and emptying spout, each cover panel having a substantially trapezoidal shape with a base towards the bottom and whose end towards the top is extended by a tongue forming the filling spout; forming a fold in each main panel along the top side; fixing the fold to form at least one loop per main panel; assembling and securing together the four main panels and four cover panels.
Side-gusset bag and method of making same
A side-gusset bag has front and back face panels each having two longitudinally extending side edges. Two folded side panels are each joined to the face panels at the side edges and each having a center longitudinally extending crease between the respective side edges. A handle assembly consists of a pair of substantially identical handle halves each formed by two longitudinally spaced ends fixed to one of the side folds to a respective side of the crease thereof and a middle section extending between the respective ends and formed unitarily therewith of plastic film. The middle sections are transversely spaced and form an open longitudinally extending gap at least 2 mm wide and aligned with the respective crease. The middle sections extend transversely over less than 80% of a transverse width of the one side fold and have outer edges space at least 5 mm from the respective side edges.
