A film bag (1) with a front film layer (2), a rear film layer (3) and side gussets (4, 5), wherein the front film layer (2) and the rear film layer (3) and the two side gussets (4, 5) are connected together at the lower edge; and wherein the film bag (1) is provided with a set of continuous suspension openings (17, 18), each consisting of four perforation openings, so that the film bag (1) is designed to be suspended on a set of carrier pegs (29); wherein the four perforation openings of each continuous suspension opening (17, 18) are provided as slits, and wherein the front slits in the front film layer are longer than those in the rear film layer, and method for producing a film bag (1).
T-shirt bag for positioning device and method for manufacturing t-shirt bag
T-Shirt bag with a front foil layer, a rear foil layer and side folds, where the front foil layer and the rear foil layer and the two side folds at the bottom edge and at the top edge are joined together; and where at the top edge of the T-shirt bag two handles are formed by a recess, both handles being provided with a continuous suspension opening; where the perforation openings with incisions and a spot connection are provided in the front foil layer and in the front side fold portions of each handle.
ROLL OF SEPARABLE BAGS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A roll of separable bags which leaves no scrap material and method of making a roll of separable bags which leaves no scrap material is disclosed herein. An elongated tube of material having a length and a width is laid flat, forming a web of material. The web of material comprises an outer and an inner sheet portion. First and second seals are formed widthwise across the outer and inner sheet portions. First and second bag separating perforation lines are formed widthwise across the outer and inner sheet portions. A user may tear one bag away from the roll of bags by using the bag separating perforation line. The user may then deploy the handles of the bag by tearing along the handle perforation lines.
RECLOSABLE BAG AND METHOD TO MAKE SAME
The present invention relates to improvements for shopping and merchandise bags with integral handles. Disclosed is a bag with integral handles and closure elements located below the integral handles. Further disclosed is a process for manufacturing a reclosable bag with integral handles. The handles and bag may be formed from a wave-cut polymeric tube. In addition, the handles of the bag may be formed from a wave-cut polymeric tube while the body of the bag is formed from a side-gusseted polymeric tube. The disclosed bags and methods to make such bags provide cost effective solutions for providing reclosable bags with integral handles.
A PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING BAGS MADE OF BIODEGRADABLE MATERIAL PLASTIC AND BAG THUS OBTAINED
A process for manufacturing bags made of a biodegradable or biodegradable-compostable plastic material and without any bellows, said process comprising the following sequence of steps: loading a reel (12) of plastic film (13) obtained by blown-film extrusion and having a width which corresponds to the width of at least one bag (50) to be formed; longitudinally cutting along cutting lines (15) to form at least two longitudinal bands (13); separating the bands to a given D distance from each other, and longitudinally welding; said steps being a function of the transversal dimension or width of the bag to be manufactured; transversally welding each individual longitudinal band (13) to define band portions (27) which corresponds to the longitudinal dimensions of the bags (50) to be formed, punching said band portions (27), moving and unloading the bags (50) thus formed.
Bag wall, bag tube and bag produced therefrom and method for producing them
A bag wall is designed for producing a bag open on a top side by means of at least a connection seam and for closing said bag by means of at least one further connecting seam after being filled with bulk material and is characterized by at least one Kraft paper layer forming a Kraft paper core (1) and essentially determining the load capacity of the bag which core (1) is provided with fine openings (2) in two-dimensional regions covering at least half of the surface of said core (1) and is directly coated on both sides with a plastic layer (3, 4) each wherein both plastic layers consist of plastic material being miscible in liquid states and wherein the plastic layers (3, 4) are connected to each other by material fit through said openings (2) during the coating.
TREATMENT OF CLOSURE ENDS ON LARGE FORMAT BAGS
A reclosure, closure or zipper (40) is mounted to the top of a large format package or bag (10), which may be formed from a tube of polymeric material and comprises a first wall (12), a second wall (14), a first gusset (16) and a second gusset (18), the first and second gussets (16, 18) respectively connecting first and second side edges (20, 22) of the first and second walls. The upper corners of the package or bag include notches (24, 26) in the gussets (16, 18). The areas of the package walls around the notches are pinned, glued or sealed together and the closure is attached to the package walls (12, 14). The ends (41, 43) of the reclosure, closure or zipper are flush with the side edges or seals (20, 22) of the package or bag.
Reinforced bag seam and method for making same
A method for making a film bag with reinforced bag seams includes a film extruder that produces a continuous tube of film. A flattener produces a continuous web of flattened film which has an upper surface and a lower surface. A fold maker has a receiving portion positioned above the web and a displacing portion is positioned below the web that moves cyclically upward to a first position to locate a portion of the web into the receiving portion, thereby forming a fold. A fold retention device prevents the fold from opening. A presser flattens the fold against the web. A sealer seals through the fold, forming a reinforced bag seam. A cutter severs a sealed portion from an unsealed portion of the web. A transport mechanism moves the film from the extruder, through the flattener, into the fold maker, beneath the presser, into the sealer and to the cutter.
