POLYMERIC BAGS AND METHOD TO MAKE SAME
The present invention is directed to a bag of polymeric film and a method to make the bag. The bag can be comprised of a front panel and a rear panel. The front and rear panels can each be comprised of multiple layers of film. The bag can be formed from a collapsed bubble of polymeric film that has been folded in half so that opposing edges of the collapsed bubble form an opening of the bag. One of the layers of the folded bubble can be split adjacent to an edge of the collapsed bubble and a draw tape film can be inserted between the layers of the folded and collapsed bubble. The collapsed bubble can further be embossed by a pattern that can provide enhanced properties to bags formed from the folded bubble.
Insulation products and methods and machines for making insulation products
The presently disclosed subject matter generally relates to recyclable insulation material for shipping containers, groceries bags, etc., machines for making the recyclable insulation material, and methods for the making the recyclable insulation material. In one aspect, an insulation product may include a first layer and a first continuous paper sheet formed into a first plurality of flexible loops disposed on and attached to the first layer and defining a first plurality of air channels that extend in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction of the insulation product. A take up factor of the first continuous paper sheet to the first layer may be greater than 1:1.
PACKAGING MATERIAL AND PACKAGES WITH SLIT FLUTES AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of packages as well as embodiments of packaging materials for forming the embodiments of the packages. In at least one embodiment of a package, the package includes a plurality of slits or cuts that extends through an inner fluted layer that is adhered to an outer external layer of the package. The inner fluted layer is present within an internal cavity of the package in which variously sized and shaped products may be placed to ship these respective products to customers. The plurality of slits provide conformability, flexibility, and bendability such that the package may more readily conform to these respective products. The plurality of slits may define sub-flutes of the fluted layer that are configured to protect and provide cushion to reduce the likelihood of the respective products within the packages being damaged while underway to their destination.
Four side seal packaging bag and preparation device and method thereof
The provided are a four side seal packaging bag and a preparation device and method thereof. The preparation device includes at least: a film material conveying mechanism, configured to continuously convey a film material of a packaging bag along a length direction of the film material; a folding mechanism, configured to fold the film material conveyed by the film material conveying mechanism; a cutting mechanism, configured to cut the upper film material; punch-and-cut mechanisms, configured to form square punch-and-cut regions and separate the square punch-and-cut regions from the side accordion film materials; a side accordion forming mechanism, configured to perform a forming operation on the side accordion film materials; and a hot-sealing mechanism, configured to hot-seal the upper film material, the formed side accordion film materials, and the lower film material.
Corrugating roller
One or more corrugating rollers configured to, in operation, corrugate paper materials to form a corrugated medium. The corrugated medium formed utilizing the one or more corrugating rollers is then utilized to form one or more shipping containers. For example, the corrugated medium is utilized to line an interior pocket of the shipping container. The corrugated medium has flutes that cushion a product that is shipped within the shipping container. The corrugated medium may include a first portion with first flutes and a second portion with second flutes that are offset relative to the first flutes. The offset first flutes and second flutes results in peaks of the first flutes nesting within valleys of the second flutes, and peaks of the second flutes nesting within valleys of the first flutes. The offset flutes are formed by a corrugated roller that includes one or more groups of flutes.
Corrugating rollers
Corrugating rollers include an outer surface, a first flute on the outer surface, the first flute having a first height, and a second flute on the outer surface, the second flute having a second height that is different than the first height.
Packaging material
The invention relates to the packaging of one or more articles in a packaging sheet material which is moveable from a first condition to a second, expanded, condition to improve the packaging effect of the sheet material. In accordance with the invention the sheet material includes a first portion with apertures which can be moved to an open position to create the second, expanded, condition and at least one, but typically a plurality of spaced apart, second portions which have no apertures, or a different shape and/or pattern of apertures than the apertures of the first portion, so as to form a surface of the said second portion more suitable for the application of a label and/or indications thereon when the sheet material is in the second expanded condition.
Conformable, recyclable shipping container, machine and method
The present disclosure is directed to a shipping container with a corrugated medium that lines an interior pocket of the shipping container as well devices and components (e.g., corrugating rollers, corrugating machines, scoring rollers, and scoring machines) that are utilized to manufacture the shipping containers. The corrugated medium has flutes that cushion, support, and protect a product that is shipped within the shipping container.
Embossed paper in combination with paper cushioning for shipping envelopes
According to some illustrative embodiments, a protective product is provided that includes: at least one expandable slit paper sheet, said at least on expandable slit paper being expanded between opposing ends of said slit paper; a first embossed paper sheet facing said expanded slit paper sheet and a second paper sheet facing an opposite side of said at least one expanded slit paper sheet, at least one of said first embossed paper sheet and said second paper sheet being fixed to said expanded slit paper sheet at the opposing ends of said expanded slit paper sheet and thereby maintaining said expanded paper in its expanded state, said first embossed paper sheet having a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of said embossed paper sheet, whereby inhibiting deformation of said embossed paper sheet that is fixed to said expanded slit sheet paper.
