A hinge-lid container for consumer articles is provided, the hinge-lid container defining an inner surface and an outer surface and including: a box configured to house the consumer articles; a lid hinged to the box along a hinge and being moveable between a closed position and an active position about the hinge, the hinge including a weakening line realized on the outer surface, the weakening line having a width between 0.1 millimetre and 1 millimetre; and an electric conductive trace provided on the outer surface, the weakening line passing through and interrupting the electric conductive trace, the electric conductive trace forming a closed circuit when the lid is in the active position and forming an open circuit when the lid is in the closed position. A method of forming a hinge-lid container for consumer articles is also provided.

Package

The present disclosure relates to a package for a delivery system. The package includes a container and a lid hingedly connected to the container about a hinge line, and an inner frame received in the container. The inner frame has a portion that extends from the container which is received in the lid when the lid is closed. The package further includes a raised seal line that is formed on the portion of the inner frame and/or on an inner surface of the lid. The raised seal line is configured to minimize a gap between the portion of the inner frame and the inner surface of the lid when the lid is closed. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing the package.

Firstly, a continuous strip of material (101) is provided, the strip having a plurality of cut-outs (103) spaced along a longitudinal direction thereof. Then, the continuous strip is cut along a plurality of cut lines (203) to form the plurality of blanks (301), each cut line comprising a straight transverse section and a curved section. Each cut line intersects a respective cut-out in the strip in the curved section of the cut line. Each cut line, together with its respective intersected cut-out, corresponds to an edge (303, 305) of at least one of the plurality of blanks. There is also provided a blank (301) formed by the method and a container (400) for consumer goods, the container comprising an inner frame (301) formed from a blank formed according by the method.

A container for consumer goods is provided, including a box including a bottom wall, two side walls, a back box wall, a front wall, a movable container back wall, and a lid. The movable container back wall depends along a first fold line from the box, is movable about the first fold line between an open position and a closed position, and at least partially overlies the back box wall when in the closed position. The lid depends along a hinge line from the movable container back wall and is movable between the open and the closed positions. A first and a second compartment each configured to receive the consumer goods are located in the box, the first compartment is accessible when the lid is in the open position, and the second compartment is accessible when both the lid and the movable container back wall are in respective open positions.

In an example embodiment, a pack for tobacco articles comprises an inner sleeve, and an outer box comprising front and back covers that allow access to the inner sleeve when the outer box is opened. The inner sleeve can include a front connecting panel pivotally connecting a front wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the front cover and a back connecting panel pivotally connecting a back wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the back cover. A slot in the outer box is configured to allow opening of the outer box by applying pressure against a bottom wall of the inner sleeve.
