The present invention relates to a gripper for gripping a product, in particular a food product, having a suction device which has a contact surface which can be brought into contact with a section, in particular with an end section, of the product, wherein the suction device comprises at least one first suction section which is bounded in the radial direction by a sealing device and which is in communication with a pumping device generating a vacuum; and at least one sealing section which is arranged outside the first suction section viewed in the radial direction of the contact region and at least sectionally, in particular completely, surrounds it in the radial direction. The present invention relates to a cutting apparatus having a corresponding gripper and to a method for cutting a product.

The device is adaptable to fowl of differing sizes and can easily and quickly truss, for example, chickens, turkeys, ducks, game hens, and other waterfowl that can be cooked and consumed. The device includes a main body having a pair of leg cradles formed in a plate adapted to be disposed adjacent a rear end of the fowl. A pair of wing locks are adjustably connected to the main body and include wing pins located at an end thereof which are adapted to be passed through a portion of the fowl wing and hold it firmly against the fowl body in order to allow even cooking and provide an excellent presentation of the fowl. The device is reusable and therefore environmentally friendly.

The device is adaptable to fowl of differing sizes and can easily and quickly truss, for example, chickens, turkeys, ducks, game hens, and other waterfowl that can be cooked and consumed. Tray assembly
A tray assembly includes a tray having a top side, an underside opposite the top side, and a plurality of protrusions extending from the underside. Each protrusion defines a recess in the top side and has a bottom wall and a contoured surface connecting the bottom wall to the top side. The tray assembly also includes a diffuser in the form of a plate with a plurality of apertures therethrough. The diffuser is couplable to the tray and positionable a spaced distance above the top side of the tray.
