RFID TAG MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
An RFID tag manufacturing system is provided that includes a conveyance device that conveys a base sheet provided with a plurality of antenna patterns to each of which an RFIC module is fixed. The system includes a laminating device that attaches a cover seal on the base sheet to cover the antenna patterns and a punching device that produces RFID tags by punching the cover seal and the base sheet with a punching blade that includes a frame-shaped cutting edge surrounding the antenna patterns to form a frame-shaped cut. The base sheet includes alignment mark in a non-attachment part of the cover seal. The punching device specifies the position of each of the antenna patterns covered with the cover seal based on the alignment mark, and punches the cover seal and the base sheet based on the specified position of the antenna pattern.
GREETING CARD FOR AUTOMATED PRINTING
This application is related to a greeting card that is conducive to automated printing, as well as methods and systems for printing on the greeting card. For example, the greeting card can include a three-dimensional (3D) card element that is containable, when the card is being printed, between a first panel of the greeting card and a protective panel of the greeting card. In addition, the greeting card can include a second panel for receiving a printed graphic (e.g., text, letters, numbers, pictures, symbols, etc.).
Label stacking machine and method
A method of making a pad of labels comprises: printing display information on a top surface of a substrate; affixing a first layer of lamination material to a bottom surface of the substrate; affixing a second layer of lamination material to the top surface of the substrate, the second layer of lamination material having a release coating applied to a top surface thereof; applying an adhesive strip to a bottom surface of the first layer of lamination material, the adhesive strip being covered by a liner material; cutting the substrate having first and second layers of lamination material affixed into at least one label; removing the liner material to expose the adhesive strip after cutting the substrate into at least one label; and arranging the labels into a pad of labels.
INFANT SLEEPER
A barrier for an infant that has a central portion sized to receive an infant thereon and a first and second side portion extending partially away from the central portion. Wherein the central portion and first and second side portions are formed from folds in an integral material.
DECORATIVE LAMINATES WITH CORE LAYER SUBJECTED TO SODIUM ALGINATE TREATMENT
A decorative laminate is manufactured in accordance with the method comprising preparing a decorative layer composed of a resin impregnated decorative sheet and preparing a core layer including an upper core sheet and a lowermost core sheet. The upper core sheet is prepared by impregnating a first paper with a resin. The lowermost core sheet is prepared by treating a second paper with sodium alginate to produce a sodium alginate treated paper and then impregnating the sodium alginate treated paper with resin. The decorative layer and the core layer are stacked. The decorative layer and the core layer are consolidated under heat and pressure to form the decorative laminate.
Pallet having panels and tube segments
The invention relates to a pallet (1), comprising a basic body (10) with a first panel (11), a second panel (12) and a layer (13) having a plurality of tube segments (14) which is arranged between the panels (11, 12), wherein the layer (13) has at least one cutout (131) which is continuous in the direction of a pallet height (HP), and wherein the first panel (11) has at least one first opening (111) which at least partially overlaps with the at least one cutout (131). The invention further relates to a foot (16) and a runner (17) for a pallet (1), to a sandwich block (2) for producing a layer (13) of a pallet (1), and to a method for producing a pallet (1).
HEAT-SHRINKABLE FILM, HEAT SHRINK LABEL, AND PACKAGE
The invention provides a heat-shrinkable film that has (1) a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 90-140 C.; (2) shrinkage of 12% or less in a main shrinkage direction when treated in glycerin at 80 C. for 10 seconds; (3) shrinkage of 12% or less in a direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction when treated in glycerin at 140 C. for 10 seconds; (4) shrinkage of 30%-80% in the main shrinkage direction when treated in glycerin at 140 C. for 10 seconds; (5) a tensile elongation at break of 10% or more both in the main shrinkage direction and the orthogonal direction after aging of 672 hours at 50 C. and 70% RH; and (6) a difference of 5% or less between shrinkage at 140 C. in the main shrinkage direction after aging of 672 hours at 50 C. and 70% RH, and shrinkage at 140 C. in the main shrinkage direction before the aging.
Device for sealing the bottom or lid of an ecologically designed cardboard box using an extensible bearing element
An extensible bearing element of a tool for sealing a bottom or a lid of a cardboard package on a body of said package has a generally polygonal shape and a cross-sectional profile. The bearing element is formed by two parallel extension sections extending along an extension direction, each connected, at one of their ends, to a bearing section. The extension sections and the bearing section define an inflation cavity. The extension sections are configured to extend along the extension direction when the bearing element is inflated. The bearing section comprises a substantially flat, free bearing surface that contacts the package body. The bearing surface extends along a plane substantially normal to the extension direction. The bearing section further comprises, at the junctions with the extension sections, beveled release portions. An inflation device comprising such an extensible bearing element is also described.
RECYCLABLE LINER FOR LABEL ASSEMBLY
In accordance with the present application, there is provided a release liner and method of preparing a liner for a label assembly. The release liner includes paper having a first side that does not have a machine finish or gloss finish or a coating; and a silicone treatment applied to the first side of the paper. The method of preparing a liner for a label assembly includes applying a coat of silicone to a paper at a side of the paper that does not have a machine finish or gloss finish and is otherwise uncoated; and curing the silicone. The release liner includes paper having a silicone coat weight of 0.5 lb/ream or less.
