SIFTER SCALE ATTACHMENT FOR STAND MIXER
A food-product handling device includes a sifter unit having a housing defining an open upper side, a mount extending outwardly from the first housing along a first axis, and a lower side opposite the upper side. The sifter unit further has a sifter basket having an interior aligned with and inset within the open upper side. The device further includes a scale assembly having a body defining an upper opening and an opposite lower opening and having an annular weight-sensing unit surrounding the upper opening. The body is positionable on the housing of the sifter unit with the opening in communication with the open upper side of the housing. A hopper is positionable on the weight-sensing unit and defines a lower open end at least partially received within the body when the hopper is positioned on the weight-sensing unit.

FOOD PROCESSING APPARATUS AND SIEVE
Described herein is a food processing apparatus (2) comprising: a container (4) having an interior; a sieve disposed within the interior of the container (4) and dividing the interior into a processing volume (14) and a collection volume (16); and a processing member (8) for processing food disposed within the processing volume. The sieve (7) comprises: a first separation member (10) comprising a set of first holes (32); and a second separation member (12) adjacent the first separation member and comprising a set of second holes (33) which are arranged such that they overlap the set of first holes to form a plurality of aligned openings (35) which pass through the first and second separation members (10, 12) for allowing food to pass from the processing volume (14) into the collection volume (16). The first and second separation members (10, 12) are movable relative to one other between a first position and a second position so as to vary the degree of overlap of the sets of first and second holes and to adjust the cross-sectional area of the aligned openings (35). Each aligned opening (35) is formed by two sides (82, 88) of one of the first holes (32) and either: one side of one of the second holes so as to define a triangular cross-sectional shape, or two sides (82, 88) of one of the second holes (33) so as to define a quadrilateral cross-sectional shape. In the second position, each aligned opening (35) is defined by portions of each of said sides (82, 88; 82, 88) of the first and second holes (32, 33) which are shorter than in the first position such that the aligned openings (35) have a smaller cross-sectional area when in the second position than the first position.

Device for separating solid food from liquid
A kitchen utensil or device, specifically a strainer, is constructed and adapted to attach removably to the side of a pan, pot, or bowl, to provide a convenient means to allow for the separation of solid food product from liquid. The strainer includes a generally planar top surface, having a plurality of small gauge holes, slits, or openings in its surface. The holes are effective to allow a liquid to pass through the surface of the utensil while retaining the solid food product. The device is attachable by a clip to the rim of an existing pan, pot, or bowl.

Adjustable Sifting Assembly
An adjustable sifting assembly for sifting granular food material includes a sleeve that is tapered thereby facilitating the sleeve to receive a granular food material such that the granular food material is urged toward a center of the sleeve. A plurality of screens is provided and a respective one of the screens is positionable in the sleeve. Each of the screens has a plurality of openings that is integrated into the screens thereby facilitating the screen that is positioned in the sleeve to sift the granular food material. In this way the screen that is positioned in the sleeve can remove dust and debris from the granular food material. The openings in each of the screens has a unique size with respect to a respective one of the screens thereby facilitating each of the screens to sift granular food items of varying sizes.
