PROVIDING FOLDING PATTERNS FOR CREATING AUGMENTED REALITY TARGET OBJECTS
In some embodiments, folding patterns are provided that can be folded to create three-dimensional target objects for use in augmented reality environments. In some embodiments, the folding patterns may include joining means to secure the folded shape and thereby enhance usability and durability. In some embodiments, the folding patterns may also include patterns that can be used to identify a particular virtual object to be rendered in association with the three-dimensional target object.
Tube filter production device and tube filter production method
According to embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a tube filter production device including a tube filter exterior forming case into which one or more filter tows are introduced and from which a tubular rod formed from the one or more filter tows is discharged, a tube filter forming bar extending in an inner region of the tube filter exterior forming case in order to form a hollow of the tubular rod, and a steam chamber having at least one steam nozzle in communication with the inner region of the tube filter exterior forming case and configured to supply steam to the one or more filter tows through the steam nozzle, wherein the tube filter forming bar has a duct extending in a longitudinal direction of the tube filter forming bar and a flavoring nozzle formed in a downstream end region of the tube filter forming bar to deliver a flavoring liquid or a moisturizing liquid supplied through the duct to the hollow of the tubular rod.
Method for manufacturing an image display
Described herein is an apparatus and method for manufacturing an image display. The apparatus provides an automated method for efficient production of a finished image display, beginning with a planar, unassembled, image display and resulting with a fully-assembled image display in its final form, such as a cube-shaped image display with a plurality of images affixed thereto. In one embodiment, the apparatus is machinery configured as a semi-automated workstation, configured with four jigs stationed on a rotating platform housed on a workstation base. The rotating platform is configured for 360 degree rotation and advancing each jig through one of four work positions. The rotating platform is controlled by a control panel, which can be operated manually or automated. In one embodiment, the machinery is capable of high through-put manufacturingup to three hundred image display cubes in one hour of operation.
Combinations and multiplications of foldable modules and their modifications
An article or portion of an article comprising a combination of at least two foldable modules that mutually hinder either their folding or unfolding during normal operation until additional force is applied on particular spots along the mutual foldable edges that connect the modules. The article or the portion of the article not only can perform almost as well as non-folding equivalents but also can have the advantages that foldability offers. Such foldable modules can define not only tubular cylindrical shapes but also conical ones and mixtures between them. They can also be built as closing collapsible modules.
Method and device for manufacturing a cup
Method for manufacturing a cup from a conical sleeve and a pot-shaped base. The base has a base face and a circumferential wall starting from the base face and inserted from a large opening in the conical sleeve into the sleeve in the direction of a small opening in the sleeve. The method includes: partially covering a radially outer circumferential face of the wall of the pot-shaped base with an annular covering sleeve, positioning the covering sleeve together with the base in the direction of the small opening in the sleeve until the predefined relative position between the sleeve and the base is reached, pulling out the covering sleeve between an inner side of the sleeve and the radially outer circumferential face of the base, the base remaining in the predefined relative position, and connecting the radially outer circumferential face of the base and the inner side of the sleeve in an essentially fluid-tight manner.
Paper picture frame, blank therefor, and method for holding a picture in a paper picture frame supported on a paper stand
The present application relates to a paper picture frame including a central rectangular portion and four rectangular tubular frame sections extending along four margins of the central rectangular portion at the rear surface thereof. The paper picture frame further includes a paper stand for holding the paper picture frame on a flat surface. The paper stand may be in the form of a triangular tubular structure formed by a base panel, a first side panel, and a support panel. A second side panel extends from the base panel over the support panel, and has a terminating end extending beyond the first side panel. A blank for forming the paper picture frame and a method for holding a picture in the paper picture frame supported on the paper stand are also disclosed.
Paper-made container and method for preparing the paper-made container
A paper-made container, in which it is unlikely to feel the heat at the time of holding the container with a hand and generation of poor appearance due to excessive expansion is prevented, without increasing the thickness of an expanded insulating layer and not resulting in a corresponding deterioration of transporting efficiency, and a method for preparing the paper-made container are provided. The paper-made container of the present invention comprises a container main body consisting of a barrel portion and a bottom plate portion, and an expanded insulating layer consisting of an expanded portion and an expansion-inhibited portion, provided on the side of the outer surface of the barrel portion, in which the expanded insulating layer is formed by heating a thermoplastic resin layer having an expansion inhibiting ink-coated portion, and the ratio of the thickness of the expansion-inhibited portion to the thickness of the expanded portion is 25% or less.
Method for manufacturing a conical sleeve and/or a paper cup
An apparatus for manufacturing a sleeve for a paper cup and/or a paper cup comprises a machine frame and at least two star wheels, which are rotatably connected with the machine frame and which can be rotated in synchronized cycles. A first star wheel comprises a number of conical mandrels, on each of which one sleeve made of a flat-lying blank can be formed. The star wheels are positioned in one plane and are arranged to a vertical wall of the machine frame with horizontal rotary axes. The star wheels can be connected to at least one drive, whereby the drive is arranged on the side of the machine frame wall facing away from the star wheels.
OVERWRAP CONTAINER, METHOD OF AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SAME
An overwrap container includes a base container having a first side seam on a side wall that extends along a longitudinal axis to define an internal volume, and a bottom connected to the side wall. An overwrap is positioned over the side wall of the base container and has a second side seam aligned longitudinally with the first side seam. Connecting elements are positioned between the side wall of the base container and the overwrap, and join the side wall of the base container and the overwrap together except in an area along the aligned first and second seams to define an uniform spacing extending continuously between the side wall and the overwrap forming an air gap there between.
Pallet construction line and assembly
An assembly and associated method for constructing a three dimensional article, such as a pallet, including a first station for feeding a sheet material in blank form, a second a second station for receiving and incising the blank, a third station for receiving the incised blank and which successively creases and folds the blank into an assembled article, and a fourth operator station for controlling each of said first, second and third stations. Also disclosed is a conveyor for removing the assembled article from the third station and transferring to a plastic coating operation.
