Label Producing Apparatus
The disclosure discloses a label producing apparatus including a driving roller, a driven roller, a driving force transmission mechanism, and a coordination adjusting mechanism. The driving roller is disposed to a downstream side of a movable blade on a tape feeding path and configured to contact and discharge a label tape. The driven roller is configured to advance and retreat with respect to the tape feeding path. The driving force transmission mechanism is configured to perform a switching operation between a transmission state where a driving force of a motor is transmitted to the driving roller and an interruption state where the transmission of the driving force to the driving roller is interrupted. The coordination adjusting mechanism is configured to adjust an advancing and retreating operation of the driven roller, an advancing and retreating operation of the movable blade, and the switching operation of the driving force transmission mechanism into a desired mutually coordinated-mode, these operations being performed by the driving force of the motor in accordance with a rotation of the motor in one direction.
Label winding device and printing system
A label winding device is for receiving a medium including a label liner and a label member that is removably attached to the label liner and has at least one label portion and a waste portion, separating the waste portion from the label liner at a waste separation portion, and winding the at least one label portion with the label liner. The label winding device includes: a waste winder for winding the separated waste portion; a label winder for winding the at least one label portion with the label liner without the separated waste portion; a waste guide for guiding the separated waste portion to the waste winder; a support for rotatably supporting the waste guide; a sensor for detecting a rotational speed of the waste guide; and a waste break detector for detecting break of the waste portion on a basis of the detection by the sensor.
Label to be wrapped around adherend and method of printing and attaching the same
A label is to be wrapped around an adherend after being printed. The adherend has a diameter equal to or smaller than a prescribed diameter. In the label, a base material has a printing surface. An adhesive layer is provided on an opposite side surface of the base material from the printing surface. A release material is bonded to the adhesive layer with a portion of the adhesive layer exposed. The release material has a higher stiffness than the base material. A mark for alignment is to be used when bonding together exposed sections of the adhesive layer or an exposed section of the adhesive layer with the release material in order to form the label into a loop shape. The mark is provided at a position for forming the label in the loop shape having an inner diameter greater than the prescribed diameter.
Anti-spoilage freshness preservation formulation and method for making same
The present disclosure generally relates to an anti-spoiling, freshness-preserving formulation comprising ionized salt, method for making ionized salt for extending shelf life of fruit and the like. The method comprises treating a refine salt to form a salt crystal, diluting the salt crystal in a bath of essential oil to from a salt melt, ionizing the salt melt to form ionized salt and locking the ionized salt in a solid state.
APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SELF-ADHESIVE LABELS
An apparatus and method for producing self-adhesive labels, in particular in a self-service area, for example of a drug store, is provided. The apparatus comprises a dye-sublimation thermal printer, as a printing means for printing a printing pattern onto an adhesive film, and a cutting apparatus for cutting the adhesive film along a cutting pattern, the adhesive film being moved automatically from the printing means to the cutting apparatus. Initially, only a first moving unit of the printing means moves the adhesive film at a first speed to a second moving unit of the cutting apparatus, after which both moving units move the printed adhesive film further in the forward direction.
Sequential die cut and slitting for improved collation
A system and process for cutting and slitting media into individualized signage members without leaving material cut from said media attached to said media includes pre-die cut openings or cut outs placed in the media based upon adhesive and liner layout of the media and cutter slitter blades used in order to create a consistent break point for slit waste.
Paper, labels made therefrom and methods of making paper and labels
Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.
Apparatus and Method for Producing Stacks of Partially Overlapping Labels and Roll of Partially Overlapping Labels
A roll of labels, each of the labels having a label side and an adhesive side, the roll comprising a stack of partially overlapping labels winded around a core structure. The label side of the first label of the stack, closest to the core structure, is on top of the stack. The roll also comprises a liner provided under a non-overlapping portion on the adhesive side of the partially overlapping labels. A method, and an apparatus, for stacking labels comprising conveying a plurality of individual labels at a first speed and transferring each of the plurality of individual labels to form a stack of labels running at a second speed lower than the first speed, thereby causing the transferred labels to be stacked in a partially overlapping configuration.
LABEL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING LABEL, METHOD FOR USING LABEL, AND ADHEREND HAVING LABEL
A label containing a base layer (A) and an adhesive layer (C) provided in contact with one surface of the base layer (A), wherein the base layer (A) contains a thermoplastic resin and at least one of inorganic fine powder and an organic filler, and the base layer (A) is stretched in at least one direction, and the film has an internal bond strength measured according to TAPPI T569 of from 0.4 to 0.95 kg.Math.cm on a side of the adhesive layer (C) and from 0.4 to 1.5 kg.Math.cm on a side opposite thereto, is easily recognized by the naked eye for the fact that the film has been peeled from an adherend, and is difficult to be restored by re-adhering after peeling.
