A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CELLULOSE PRODUCT AND A CELLULOSE PRODUCT
A method for producing a cellulose product from an air-formed cellulose blank structure comprising the steps; providing a cellulose blank structure which is air-formed from cellulose fibres; applying, in a first application step (S.sub.A1), an alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) dispersion to the cellulose blank structure, and applying, in a second application step (S.sub.A2) a latex dispersion to the cellulose blank structure arranging the cellulose blank structure with the applied alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) dispersion and latex dispersion in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank structure to a forming temperature (T.sub.F) in the range of 100° C. to 300° C., and forming the cellulose product from the cellulose blank structure in the forming mould, by pressing the heated cellulose blank structure with the applied alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) dispersion and latex dispersion with a forming pressure (P.sub.F) of at least 1 MPa, preferably 4-20 MPa.
LID MEMBER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A lid and substrate part made of pulp material are connected as one piece via hinge part and configured to be openable and closable, wherein the lid part is provided with a swell part and the substrate part is provided with a part for attaching to a package, a surrounding wall standing from the attaching part and a flange part formed between the surrounding wall and the outlet, wherein when the lid is closed the lid part contacts the flange part, when the closed lid state is maintained the swell part covers the surrounding wall in which a pressing force is applied to the flange part by the lid part, when retention of the closed lid state is removed, the pressing force by the lid part to the flange part is removed and a force to open the lid part is applied from the flange part onto the lid part.
COMPOSITE MATERIALS
The invention relates to a composite material comprising cellulose. The composite material comprises a first cellulose-based material, which may be a textile or fabric, and a second cellulose-based material, which may be a film or cellulose based material or powdered cellulose-based material. The second cellulose-based material may be a sheet material comprising cellulose, such as a paper or a regenerated cellulose film. In embodiments the material is a so called “all cellulose composite” where both of the materials that are brought together are different forms of material comprising or being cellulose. For example, the different materials originate from cellulose-based feedstocks. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the composite materials of the invention utilising ionic liquids.

Method for three-dimensional shaping of material
A method for the three-dimensional shaping of flat material made from in particular, natural fibers, such as for example, paper or cardboard, using a deep-drawing piston and a die, through which or into which the material is drawn. The diameter of the deep-drawing piston plus the material thickness of the deep-drawn material corresponds at least approximately to the diameter of the die.

Method of making a paper straw with a bend
A method of making a paper straw with a bend includes coating a strip of paper with polyethylene on a first side and a second side of the strip of paper; cutting the strip of paper to a desired length; providing a spring apparatus of a predetermined length; rolling the strip of paper around the spring apparatus such that the strip of paper partially overlaps with itself to form a straw, the polyethylene holding the strip of paper in a rolled position; applying steam to the straw; and bending the straw to create a bend, the straw remains bent; and removing the spring apparatus from the straw.
MOLDED PAPER CUSHIONING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A molded paper structure that provides cushioning and the method of manufacturing. The molded paper cushioning is flexible, with a continuous surface, without the use of folds or external adhesives. In the method of manufacture, paper sheet material is soaked with water and subsequently passed through a compression mold that forms the paper into a cushioning shape.
HUMIDIFYING DEVICE AND CORRUGATING MACHINE
Provided are a humidifying device and a corrugating machine whereby release of heat from heated water is suppressed and a liner paper is humidified. A humidifying device for humidifying a surface liner paper affixed to a core paper via a starch glue has a liquid application roller for applying heated water to the surface liner paper, provided downstream from a preheater for heating the surface liner paper prior to the affixing; and a chamber facing the peripheral face of the liquid application roller and provided with an internal space to which the heated water is supplied. The chamber further has an opening for supplying the heated water to the peripheral face of the liquid application roller, and is formed so that the length of the opening in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the liquid application roller is less than the diameter of the liquid application roller.
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD SHEET MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
The corrugated cardboard sheet manufacturing system including a production state information acquisition device; a control value information acquisition device for acquiring control value information of a control element of a corrugated cardboard sheet manufacturing apparatus exerting an influence on the warp of a corrugated cardboard sheet; a warp information acquisition device for acquiring information of a warp amount of the corrugated cardboard sheet; a storage device for storing a performance data set including at least production state information, the control value information, and the warp information; a pre-control table storing a standard control value of the control element set in accordance with a production state; a correction table for correcting the standard control value to set an initial control value; an update device for updating the correction table by reflecting the performance data set; and control device for performing feedforward control of the control element using the initial control value.
