The liquid applier includes a liquid application rotator configured to rotate, in contact with the medium conveyed by the conveyor, about a pivot extending in a main scanning direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the medium and to a thickness direction of the medium, to apply the liquid to the medium.

The circuitry is to measure an elapsed time after the application process is executed on a first medium of the media bundle, control the liquid applier to reapply the liquid to the first medium as a reapplication process when the elapsed time reaches a threshold time before a second medium is conveyed to the tray, control the liquid applier not to reapply the liquid to the first medium as the reapplication process when the second medium is conveyed to the tray before the elapsed time reaches the threshold time, and control the crimper to execute the binding process on the media bundle including the first medium and the second medium.

A binding processing device includes: a binding processing element that advances a binding tooth to a sheet to perform binding processing of the sheet; and a processor that performs control of drying a bound part of the sheet after the binding processing of the sheet by the binding processing element is performed.
