DEVICE AND PROCEDURE FOR OPENING PISTACHIOS
A device for opening pistachios and associated procedure includes a conical receptacle, intended to receive a pistachio at the tip. A rod is aligned with the axis of the conical receptacle. An activator is intended to move the rod. The device includes a first frustoconical receptacle with the smaller diameter of a dimension between 5% and 20% less than the largest transverse diameter of the pistachio.

Modular hand-held kitchen applicance
The present invention is directed to a hand-held modular kitchen multitool having a universal powerhead capable of being used with a variety of kitchen appliance attachments, such as a can opener and a coffee grinder. The can opener is a side cutting can opener which provides a more compact size and smoother cut. The coffee grinder has a rotating blade that's only operational when enclosed by a cup and assembled with the powerhead. This prevents unintentional operation and injury to the user.
COCONUT OPENER
A coconut opener for accessing and removing coconut water from a fresh coconut, comprises a coconut shell penetrating hollow shaft comprising, at a distal end, a blade with a sharp, pointed tip, a disc affixed centrally and transversely atop a proximal end of the shaft and comprising a central aperture within a top surface of the disc, the aperture aligned with the hollow shaft such that in use, a straw may be inserted through the aperture and through the hollow shaft to access the coconut water; and wherein a plurality of grip indentations are formed in an outer rim of the disc.

FOOD PREPARATION IMPLEMENT
A food preparation implement usable by an intended user for pressing and crushing foodstuff, the intended user having a hand, the food preparation implement comprising: a first jaw and a second jaw, the first and second jaws being pivotally attached to each other at a pivot location so as to be movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration; the first jaw including a pressing compartment, the pressing compartment being defined by a pressing wall and a peripheral wall extending therefrom, the pressing wall defining a pressing aperture extending therethrough, the second jaw including a plunger, the plunger being insertable into the pressing compartment when the first and second jaws are in the closed configuration; the first and second jaws also including respectively a first and a second jaw crushing wall, the first and second jaw crushing walls being located substantially opposed to each other and substantially adjacent to each other when the first and second jaws are in the closed configuration.

Adjustable Nutcracker
The embodiment of a hand tighten screw mounted through a threaded hole on one handle of a plyer type nutcracker at a position adjacent to nutcracker's pivotal connection. The engagement of this hand tighten screw through tightening and untightening regulates the pressure the nut or object to be crushed shall receive in a cracking operation. The right pressure shall result in either large broken haul pieces or hand-breakable cracks on the hull or shell effectively eliminating the scattering of shells and hulls in the cracking operation while keeping the kernel in one whole piece or fewer big pieces. Additionally, the engagement of the hand tighten screw creates a safe distance between the nutcracker handles to prevent fingers from being pinched in a cracking operation.
