TILE EDGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed herein are tiles, systems, and methods related to manufacturing bullnose or other non-straight edge tiles. In a method of manufacturing a bullnose tile, the method comprises the steps of providing a tile, wherein said tile is a fired ceramic tile comprising a base and a decoration; cutting or milling the tile to form a bullnose edge; transporting the tile to at least a first printing station; printing at least one print layer of print media on the bullnose edge; transporting the tile to a curing station and curing the print media to provide the bullnose tile.
REINFORCING VIBRATION-DAMPING MATERIAL AND REINFORCING VIBRATION-DAMPING STRUCTURE
A reinforcing vibration-damping material that includes a reinforcing material and a vibration-damping material disposed on the reinforcing material in a thickness direction of the reinforcing material. The vibration-damping material has a first portion that overlaps the reinforcing material in the thickness direction and a second portion that does not overlap the reinforcing material in the thickness direction. When the reinforcing vibration-damping material is attached to the object, the reinforcing material is adhered to the object and the second portion of the vibration-damping material is also adhered to the object so that the vibration-damping material suppresses the downward displacement of the reinforcing material.

A PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURE OF A LAMINATE
This invention relates to a process for the division of an individual input source log into discrete longitudinal lengths for subsequent processing. The process comprises receiving an individual input source log, dividing the input source log into one or a plurality of output log portions of a predetermined length, wherein at least a portion of said output log portions resultant from said division are of a substantially equal or substantially constant or consistent longitudinal length, and wherein said substantially equal or substantially constant or consistent longitudinal length output log portions are procured as a feed stream of log material for a subsequent processing step. This process provides for the processing of logs and subsequent assembly into an end product formed from a composite of sticks derived from said processed logs.
Mutli-layer products
A multi-layer product as a seal includes a cover layer having an adhesive layer and a backing layer with a release layer. The cover layer has a first part including one or more releasable portions, each having an associated patch. The backing layer has a pre-formed line of separation that extends across the seal from the first edge to the second edge and separates the backing layer into a first part and a second part. The second part of the backing layer includes at least one removable portion at an edge thereof. Each removable portion is defined by one or more pre-formed lines of separation. The cover layer has a second part including at least one flap portion each of which is substantially coincident with a respective one of the removable portions and defined by one or more pre-formed lines of separation in the second part of the cover layer.
Apparatuses and methods for printing security documents
A digitally printed security document includes: a security document substrate; a first digitally printed print working on a first surface of the substrate in a first region, the first print working including a first array of printed elements arranged according to a first grid of lattice points having a first pitch; and a second digitally printed print working on the first surface of the substrate in a second region, the second print working including a second array of printed elements arranged across a second grid of lattice points having a second pitch different from the first pitch.
Organic board, metal-clad laminate, and wiring board
An organic board of the present disclosure has a resin component comprising at least one resin selected from the group consisting of an epoxy resin, a polyimide resin, a phenolic resin, an amino resin, a polyester resin, a polyphenylene resin, a cyclic olefin resin, and a Teflon (registered trademark) resin as the main component, and a non-resin component including at least one of an inorganic filler and a flame retardant, in which the non-resin component is dispersed in the resin component, at least a part of the non-resin component is agglomerated to form an aggregate, a part of the resin component forms a resin material part having a particle shape, the resin material part exists within the aggregate, or the resin component forms a matrix phase surrounding the aggregate, and there are voids at some interfaces between the resin component and the aggregate.
COMPOSITE BAMBOO INDUSTRIAL MATS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Disclosed are interlocking elongate composite bamboo industrial mats having an upper layer with two or more elongate laminated composite bamboo panels, an intermediate layer with a plurality of elongate laminated composite bamboo panels arranged in parallel and perpendicular to the laminated composite bamboo panels in the upper layer, and a bottom layer with a plurality of elongate laminated composite bamboo panels arranged in parallel to the upper layer. The three layers are secured together with fasteners consisting of a bolt, an outward-facing concave washer engaged with the bolt head, and a sleeve nut having an outward-facing washer engaged with the sleeve nut head. The interlocking elongate composite bamboo industrial mats are configured to interlock end-to-end or alternatively, side-to-side. Each of the elongate laminated composite bamboo panels comprises a plurality of kiln-dried glue-dipped elongate asymmetrically fractured bamboo strips compressed into a solid panel devoid of air spaces.
Method and apparatus for making a water drainage-promoting wrap
A method and apparatus for making a water drainage-promoting wrap for applications such as housewrap and roofing underlayment. A substrate, which may be breathable or non-breathable, is conveyed through a nip between a rotating sleeve and a roll, the sleeve having a plurality of apertures therein. A fluid resin composition is fed into the sleeve and is fed out through the apertures in the sleeve as it rotates and as the substrate moves through the nip, forming spaced-apart spacer elements on a face of the substrate. The spacer elements are then dried or cured.
Imprinting tape, method of manufacture thereof and articles comprising the same
Disclosed herein is a multilayered tape comprising a first layer; where the first layer comprises a first surface and second surface; the first surface of the first layer having a surface texture; a second layer; the second layer having a first surface and a second surface; where the first surface of the second layer is closer to the second surface of the first layer than the second surface of the second layer; where the second surface of the second layer contains at least one partition that is parallel to a longitudinal direction of the multilayered tape.
