Acoustic fibrous decoupler
Moulded three-dimensional noise attenuating trim part for a vehicle, comprising at least a three layer system consisting of a first porous fibrous layer and a second porous fibrous layer and an air permeable intermediate film layer situated between the first and second porous fibrous layers and wherein the adjacent surfaces within the three layer system are interconnected, wherein the second porous fibrous layer has an area weight AW2 that is varying over the surface and wherein at least for areas of the three layer system with a total thickness t between 5 and 35 mm, the area weight AW2 relates to the total thickness t of the three layer system as following 25*t+175<AW2<45*t+475 wherein t is in mm and AW2 is in g.Math.m−2 and wherein the area weight AW2 of the second porous fibrous layer is increasing with increasing total thickness t of the three layer system.
Skin foam-in-place foamed article and production method thereof
There is provided a skin foam-in-place foamed article comprising a pad (15) and a bag-like outer material (20) covering the pad (15). The outer material (20) has a top layer (21) and a liner layer (22) made of a foamed resin. The liner layer (22) has a closed cell structure. A pad-side skin layer (27a) having a density higher than that of a bulk layer (26) is provided on the liner layer (22), on a side of the pad (15). A corona treatment is applied to the pad-side skin layer (27a).
Acoustic fiber silencer
An acoustic fiber silencer for a motor vehicle includes a first sound absorbing layer and a second sound insulating layer. The layers are formed of lightweight fibrous material, and the sound insulating layer is quilted. The acoustic fiber silencer includes a frame to which the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers are secured. The frame provides structural support and shape to the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers. The acoustic fiber silencer is lightweight while maintaining excellent noise attenuation properties.
Plate-like composite material
A plate-like composite material in which peeling of a conductor layer and the like serving as wiring is less liable to occur is provided. The plate-like composite material includes: a pore-containing layer, which contains a fluororesin and a filler, and which contains pores; and a resin layer containing a fluororesin bonded to one surface, or each of both surfaces, of the pore-containing layer, wherein the pore-containing layer includes, in a vicinity of an interface with the resin layer, a high resin content region, which contains the fluororesin in a content higher than a content in a remaining region of the pore-containing layer, and which contains the pores in a content lower than a content in the remaining region, and wherein the high resin content region has a thickness starting from the interface of from 0.20 μm to 10 μm.
Display module including a step-difference compensation film and a method of manufacturing a display device including the same
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a display module is provided including a display panel comprising a pixel configured to display an image on a front surface of the display panel. A cover panel is disposed on a rear surface of the display panel. An adhesive film is disposed on the cover panel, and the adhesive film exposes a first portion of the cover panel. A protective film is disposed on the cover panel, and the adhesive film is disposed between the protective film and the cover panel. A step-difference compensation film is disposed between the cover panel and the protective film. The step-difference compensation film covers the first portion of the cover panel exposed by the adhesive film and the step difference compensation film has a thickness substantially equal to a thickness of the adhesive film.

Nanovided spacer materials and corresponding systems and methods
A nanovoided spacer material that is used as a mechanical buffer between at least two optical components. The optical components may include gratings (e.g., Bragg gratings, moth-eye surfaces, etc.) having sensitive and fragile surfaces (e.g., patterned surfaces). The nanovoided spacers may have a predetermined thickness and concentration of nanovoids to provide a given optical property (e.g., a reflection coefficient at an interface between two optical elements). The nanovoided spacer may include a multilayer structure (e.g., two or more layers) of varying refractive index (e.g., to reduce reflections between surfaces of the optical elements). The nanovoided spacer may include from about 10% to 90% nanovoids by volume and may have an average index of refraction of about 1.15. Various other methods, systems, apparatuses, and materials are also disclosed.
Shaped Nonwovens that Exhibit High Visual Resolution
A nonwoven fabric is disclosed. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and at least a first visually discernible zone of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, and the first visually discernible zone can exhibit a high visual resolution.
