Below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and low reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same
The present invention relates generally to a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and low reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. More particularly, the invention encompasses a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive, and having at least one layer of low reflectivity granular particle layer that are fully or partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is below about 50 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The inventive waterproofing layer having the waterproofing sheet membrane, and an adhesive layer having embedded therein low reflectivity granular particles can be used in any building or wall construction, and can be placed under or around a foundation of a building or dwelling or on its below grade blind side retaining walls, etc.
FOAMED POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITION SUITABLE FOR SHEETS AND ARTICLES
The present invention relates to a foamed polypropylene composition comprising (A) from 60.0 to 95.0 wt % of a linear propylene homopolymer and (B) from 5.0 to 40.0 wt % of a low density polyethylene, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition, wherein the polypropylene composition before foaming has a melt flow rate MFR.sub.2 of from 0.1 to 5.0 g/10 min, determined according to ISO 1133 at a load of 2.16 kg and a temperature of 230° C., and a F.sub.30 melt strength of from 0.1 to 2.0 cN, determined according to ISO 16790:2005, a sheet comprising said foamed polypropylene composition, an article comprising said sheet, a process for producing said sheet and the use of said foamed polypropylene composition or said sheet for producing an article.
High performance plastic magnetic materials and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a high performance plastic magnetic material, comprising a low surface energy layer, a magnetic layer and a printable layer, wherein the magnetic layer and the printable layer are arranged successively on a first side of the low surface energy layer; the low surface energy layer is an organic silicon pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The invention further discloses a preparation method, comprising the following steps: pretreating a magnetic powder with a coupling agent; mixing the pretreated magnetic powder with matrix components and auxiliaries to gain a mixture; extrusion compositing the gained mixture with a printable layer to gain composite paper having the printable layer and a magnetic layer; and applying a low surface energy layer on a side of the magnetic layer, opposite the printable layer. As no UV layer and no adhesive residue, the material of the invention is environmentally friendly and highly reliable.

COMPOSITE BODY AND LAYERED BODY
One aspect of the present disclosure provides a composite body including: a nitride sintered body having a porous structure; and a semi-cured product of a thermosetting composition impregnated into the above-described nitride sintered body, in which dielectric breakdown voltage is 4.5 kV or higher.
TRANSPARENT FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A transparent film including: a transparent substrate; and a conducting fiber-containing layer that is stacked on at least one main surface of the transparent substrate material and contains conducting fibers substantially evenly dispersed in a plane view and a binder resin. The transparent film has a high resistance part in which an undercoat layer is provided between the transparent substrate material and the conducting fiber-containing layer, and a low resistance part in which the undercoat layer is not provided between the transparent substrate material and the conducting fiber-containing layer. The relationship between a sheet resistance value R.sub.H of the high resistance part and a sheet resistance value R.sub.L of the low resistance part is expressed as R.sub.H/R.sub.L>100. The undercoat layer contains a resin having at least one group or boding part having (—NH—).

Abrasive particle with enhanced retention features
The present inventive subject matter provides an abrasive particle. The abrasive particle can include an elongated body that is defined between opposed first and second ends. Each end defines a substantially planar surface. An axis extends through the first and second ends, and each end has a respective first and second cross-sectional area. At least one of the first and second ends is oriented at an angle relative to the axis that is less than 90 degrees. The elongated body has a variable cross-sectional area centered along the axis. At least one cross-sectional area between the first and second ends represents a local minimum cross-sectional area.
