A landscape edging for use on a stone surface, the edging solving the problem that known edging has a poor shaping effect, is higher in cost and cannot satisfactorily harmonize with vegetation. The landscape edging comprises an edging body, the edging body having flexibility, and an outer wall thereof being provided with a decoration layer made of stone granules. When in use, an isolation belt can satisfactorily harmonize with the surrounding environment, and has a certain flexibility, can achieve better shaping, has a better usage effect and is a good substitute for an existing landscape edging.

POLYMER MODIFIED ASPHALT ROOFING MATERIAL

A shingle coating asphalt composition is provided that is produced from a paving grade asphalt. The asphalt composition comprises a paving-grade asphalt that has been modified with one or more polymer additives; and a secondary additive comprising one or more of a viscosity reducing agent, a wax, a salt of a fatty acid ester, and an amide of a fatty acid. The shingle coating asphalt coating composition is used to make a shingle. The shingle includes a substrate, the asphalt, and roofing granules.

METHOD FOR PROVIDING BITUMINOUS BACKINGS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
20210310250 · 2021-10-07 ·

A method for providing bituminous backings for the construction industry, includes the following steps obtaining a semi-finished product having a reinforcement to which a bituminous layer is applied, on the outer surface of which inert materials are or are not distributed and/or inside which the inert materials are embedded. The method also includes annealing the semi-finished product, directly following the step of bituminization of the reinforcement or after the step of applying bitumen to the reinforcement so as to embed the inert materials in the bituminous layer, while at the same time drying the outer surface.

Applying a release material to a shingle during manufacturing

Disclosed is a release material that can be applied as a liquid, gel, emulsion, foam, etc. in a shingle manufacturing line. The release material can also be used in the manufacturing of roll roofing. The release material primarily constitutes an emulsion of polymers that can be cured with heat, IR light or other methods. Silicone may also be included in the emulsion which assists in releasability. The release material can be sprayed or extruded on to the surface of the shingle in an automated fashion, eliminating the necessity for operator interaction.

A shingle repair patch is provided that may include a base member and granules as discussed in detail above. An adhesive strip is positioned proximate an upper edge on the underside of the base member, or elsewhere on the underside of the base member. The adhesive strip preferably permanently bonds a rigid lip to the base member. The rigid lip preferably extends beyond the upper edge of the base member. An adhesive strip may be positioned on at least a portion of the bottom side of the rigid lip. Release tape is temporarily affixed to the adhesive strip. The adhesive strip is composed of an adhesive that adheres securely without an extended or heat-induced cure period. Standard adhesive may be applied to the remainder of the bottom of the base member, or further adhesive like that found in the adhesive strip may be applied to the remainder of the bottom of the base member.
