Cover plate and cover plate assembly for concealed fire protection sprinkler
A cover plate is configured to be releasably connected to a concealed fire protection sprinkler to conceal the fire protection sprinkler. The cover plate includes a first layer of metal on a first side of the cover plate, the first side of the cover plate having the first layer of metal directly facing, in its entirety, the concealed fire protection sprinkler, and a second layer of metal on a second side of the cover plate, the second side being opposite to the first side. The second layer of metal is more resistant to corrosion than the first layer, and is bonded to the first layer. In addition, the first layer of metal facing the concealed fire protection sprinkler is more thermally conductive than is the second layer.

Metal-coated reactive powders and methods for making the same
The disclosed process is capable of depositing thin layers of a wide variety of metals onto powders of magnesium, aluminum, and their alloys. A material is provided that comprises particles containing a reactive metal coated with a noble metal that has a less-negative standard reduction potential than the reactive metal. The coating has a thickness from 1 nanometer to 100 microns, for example. A method of forming an immersion deposit on a reactive metal comprises: combining a reactive metal, an ionic liquid, and a noble metal salt; depositing the noble metal on the reactive metal by a surface-displacement reaction, thereby generating the immersion deposit on the reactive metal; and removing the ionic liquid from the immersion deposit. The material may be present in an article or object (e.g., a sintered part) containing from 0.25 wt % to 100 wt % of a coated reactive metal as disclosed herein.

MULTI-LAYER ROLLED COMPOSITE BOARD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed is a multi-layer rolled composite board, comprising a transition layer provided between two adjacent composite layers, wherein the transition layer is an anisotropic steel sheet. Also disclosed is a manufacturing method for the multi-layer rolled composite board, the method comprising the following steps: (1) providing a transition layer between adjacent composite layers to assemble a blank, and creating a vacuum between the layers; and (2) performing composite rolling, comprising: heating the blank to 1100-1260° C. and maintaining the temperature for 0.6 h or above, then performing hot rolling at a temperature of Ar3 or above, with the final rolling temperature being controlled to be higher than 820° C., cooling at a speed of 30-100° C./s after rolling, and then coiling, with the coiling temperature being controlled to be 20-750° C. The multi-layer rolled composite board of the present invention can be greatly transformed according to different compositions and processes so as to achieve different strength grades ranging from 150 MPa to 1700 MPa, thereby providing the basis for different specific mechanical properties for the whole steel sheet.
