STEEL SHEET, MEMBER, AND PRODUCTION METHODS THEREFOR
A steel sheet has a tensile strength of 1310 MPa or higher, a specified chemical composition, and a steel microstructure containing martensite at an area ratio of 70% or more, bainite at an area ratio of 30% or less, and ferrite and retained austenite at a total area ratio of 10% or less, in which, at a ¼ thickness position of the steel sheet, a number density of carbides having long axes of 0.5 μm or more is 60000 carbides/mm.sup.2 or less, in a ¼-to-¾ thickness region of the steel sheet, a number density of inclusion grains having equivalent circle diameters of 4.0 μm or more is 10 grains/mm.sup.2 or more and 30 grains/mm.sup.2 or less, and, in a surface-to-¼ thickness region of the steel sheet, a number density of inclusion grains having equivalent circle diameters of 4.0 μm or more is 27 grains/mm.sup.2 or less.

A tin-plated copper terminal material in which on a substrate made of copper or copper alloy, a nickel-or-nickel-alloy layer, a copper-tin alloy layer, and a tin layer are laminated in this order; in this material, the tin layer has an average thickness 0.2 μm to 1.2 μm inclusive; the copper-tin alloy layer is a compound alloy layer in which Cu.sub.6Sn.sub.5 is a main ingredient and part of copper in the Cu.sub.6Sn.sub.5 is substituted with nickel, and an average crystal grain size is 0.2 μm to 1.5 μm inclusive; part of the copper-tin alloy layer appears on a surface of the tin layer and tin solidification parts exist like islands; and the tin solidification parts have an average diameter 10 μm to 1000 μm inclusive in a direction along the surface of the tin layer and an area ratio to the surface of the tin layer 1% to 90% inclusive.

Method of manufacturing a brazing sheet
In a brazing sheet manufacturing method, a cladding slab is prepared by overlaying at least a core-material slab composed of an aluminum material and a filler-material slab composed of an Al—Si series alloy, in which a metal element that oxidizes more readily than Al is included in at least one of the slabs. A clad sheet is prepared by hot rolling this cladding slab, which then has at least a core material layer composed of the core-material slab and a filler material layer composed of the filler-material slab and disposed on at least one side of the core material. Then, a surface of the clad sheet is etched using a liquid etchant that contains an acid. Subsequently, the clad sheet is cold rolled to a desired thickness. In flux-free brazing, such a brazing sheet is capable of curtailing degradation in brazeability caused by fluctuations in dew point and oxygen concentration.
ALUMINUM ALLOY BRAZING SHEET AND BRAZING METHOD FOR ALUMINUM ALLOY BRAZING SHEET
An aluminum alloy brazing sheet including a core material and a brazing material provided on at least one surface of the core material. The brazing material includes 5.0-9.0 mass % Si, 0.10-0.90 mass % Mg, and 0.05-0.60 mass % Bi, and further includes at least one of 0.80 mass % or less Mn and 0.60 mass % or less Ti, with the remainder being Al and inevitable impurities.
Turbine engine shaft coating
A coated steel substrate has a steel substrate having a surface. A coating layer is atop the surface. The coating layer includes: aluminum activated by indium; and a ceramic binder. The coating also may comprise of multiple layers with different properties to facilitate the galvanic protection capability.
