This coated steel member includes: a steel sheet substrate having a predetermined chemical composition; and a coating formed on a surface of the steel sheet substrate and containing Al and Fe, in which the coating has a low Al content region having an Al content of 3 mass % or more and less than 30 mass % and a high Al content region formed on a side closer to a surface than the low Al content region and having an Al content of 30 mass % or more, a maximum C content of the high Al content region is 25% or less of a C content of the steel sheet substrate, a maximum C content of the low Al content region is 40% or less of the C content of the steel sheet substrate, and a maximum C content in a range from an interface between the steel sheet substrate and the coating to a depth of 10 μm on a side of the steel sheet substrate is 80% or less of the C content of the steel sheet substrate.

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet has a 3XXX, 1XXX or 6XXX core, an interliner and a 4XXX brazing layer without added Mg. The interliner has Bi and Mg, the magnesium migrating to the surface of the brazing sheet during brazing and reducing the aluminum oxide to facilitate brazing without flux in a controlled inert atmosphere with reduced oxygen.

The present disclosure relates to a zinc-based coated steel material having excellent corrosion resistance and spot weldability and, more particularly, to a zinc-based coated steel material plated with a multilayer zinc alloy, which has two or more layers, and having excellent corrosion resistance and spot weldability. A zinc-based coated steel material according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a base steel; and a multilayer zinc-based plating layer composed of two or more discriminated plating layers, in which the multilayer zinc-based plating layer may include Mg of 0.12˜0.64 percent by weight.

Provided are: a metal composite material in which a metal material and an aluminum casting are integrated with one another so as to exhibit high adhesion strength; and a method for producing the same. The metal composite material has a metal material and an aluminum casting which is layered on the metal material. Projecting alloy sections of the metal material which have a higher melting point than does the aluminum casting are formed on the surface of the metal material. The aluminum casting covers the surface of the metal material and is tightly adhered to the projecting alloy sections.
Method of producing metal-coated steel strip
A method of forming a coating of an Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy on a steel strip to form an Al—Zn—Mg—Si coated steel strip is disclosed. The method includes the steps of dipping steel strip into a bath of molten Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy and forming a coating of the alloy on exposed surfaces of the steel strip and cooling the coated strip with cooling water. The cooling step includes controlling the p H of cooling water to be in a range of pH 5-9. Particular embodiments focus on Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloys that contain the following elements in % by weight: Zn: 2 to 19, Si: 0.01 to 2, Mg: 1 to 10, and Balance Al and unavoidable impurities.
Bamboo-like copper crystal particles having a highly preferred orientation
An electroplating copper layer includes bamboo-like copper crystal particles having a highly preferred orientation. The bamboo-like copper crystal particles have a long axis direction and a short axis direction, and the bamboo-like copper crystal particles have a length of 20 nm to 5 μm in the long axis direction and a length of 20 nm to 2 μm in the short axis direction. The bamboo-like copper crystal particles have a uniform particle size, and the electroplating copper layer has a major diffraction peak at a 2θ angle of about 44°.
