Method of manufacturing hot press-formed member having excellent productivity, weldability and formability
An method of manufacturing a hot press-formed member comprises heating a blank of an aluminum-based plated steel sheet in a heating furnace, removing the heated blank from the heating furnace and conveying the removed blank between an upper mold portion and a lower mold portion of a mold, mounted on a press, to be seated; and performing a forming process after the upper mold portion of the mold is in contact with the seated blank.
Method for Producing a Coated Metal Strip Having an Improved Appearance
A process for manufacturing a coated metal strip having a metallic corrosion protection coating is provided. The process includes passing a metal strip through a molten metal bath comprising from 2 to 8 wt % aluminum, 0 to 5 wt % magnesium, up to 0.3 wt % additional elements, and a balance including zinc and inevitable impurities, to yield a molten metal coated metal strip, wiping the molten metal coated metal strip with a nozzle spraying a gas on either side of the molten metal coated metal strip and cooling the coating in a controlled manner until the coating has completely solidified, to obtain the coated metal strip. A temperature of the molten metal bath is from 350 to 700° C., and the cooling is conducted at a rate less than 15° C./s between a temperature on leaving a unit where the wiping occurs and a start of solidification of the coating, and then at a rate greater than or equal to 15° C./s between a start and an end of solidification of the coating.

HIGH-STRENGTH PLATED STEEL SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A high-strength plated steel sheet sequentially includes an internal oxidized layer, a soft layer containing the internal oxidized layer, and a hard layer including a structure having metallic structure which contains a low-temperature-transformation produced phase in a proportion of 20 to 85% by area of the whole of the metallic structure, polygonal ferrite in a proportion more than 10% by area, and 70% or less by area of the whole of the metallic structure, and-retained austenite in a proportion of 5% or more by volume of the whole of the metallic structure. The high-strength plated steel sheet satisfies the average depth D of the soft layer being 20 μm or more, the average depth d of the internal oxidized layer being 4 μm or more and less than D, and a tensile strength being 980 MPa or more.
STEEL SHEET FOR A FUEL TANK
A steel sheet for a fuel tank according to the present invention includes: a Zn—Ni alloy plated layer placed on one surface or each of both surfaces of a base metal; and a chromate-free chemical conversion coating film which is placed over the Zn—Ni alloy plated layer. The Zn—Ni alloy plated layer has a crack starting from an interface with the chromate-free chemical conversion coating film and reaching an interface with the steel sheet, the chromate-free chemical conversion coating film consists of an organosilicon compound consisting of a condensation polymer of a silane coupling agent, a phosphoric acid compound and/or a phosphonic acid compound, a vanadium compound, and a titanium compound and/or a zirconium compound, and a concentration of a total of amounts in terms of metal, per surface, of the phosphoric acid compound and/or the phosphonic acid compound+the vanadium compound+the titanium compound and/or the zirconium compound, is 5 mass % to 20 mass %.
ALUMINUM-ALLOY-CLAD PLATE AND ALUMINUM-ALLOY-CLAD STRUCTURAL MEMBER
An aluminum-alloy-clad plate in which a plurality of aluminum alloy layers are layered and diffusion heat treatment is performed thereon, wherein aluminum alloy layers having a specific composition are layered so as to each have a different content Mg or Zn, the structure of the aluminum alloy clad plate after diffusion heat treatment thereof has a minute crystal grain diameter and a predetermined amount of a specific Mg and Zn inter-diffusion region in which Mg and Zn of layered aluminum alloy layers are diffused with each other, and increased strength and high moldability are obtained at the same time.

VEHICLE INFORMATION PANEL INTERFACE
Provided are systems and methods for facilitating a user to configure and retrieve personalized settings for an information panel in a driving apparatus. The information panel system may be configured to store a plurality information panel configurations. Different information panel configurations may correspond to different users of the driving apparatus. Users may be identified when inside the driving apparatus by capturing their biometric information. Following identification, an information panel configuration corresponding to the identified user may be retrieved and configured on a display device. The displayed information panel configuration may include an arrangement of display items. The display items may have been previously selected by the identified user, and the selection may have included choosing an information panel template with one or more partitioned areas and selecting one or more display items to place in different partitioned areas.
