SUPPORT DEVICE FOR AN ARTICLE
Cleaning handheld utensils become more popular and varied over time in performing functions in the house, specifically in the toilet room and the kitchen. These utensils are commonly left throughout the kitchen countertop area. In many cases, the cleaning utensils are disposed in or above a container filled with soap or dishwashing liquid. Further, awareness to cleaning level of the cleanings utensils rises, especially when mounted on central spaces such as the kitchen countertop. Many times, hence, the cleaning utensils are placed in the sink. The cleaning utensils are usually placed upon the countertop, consuming expensive real estate in the kitchen and leaving a sticky mess to be cleaned. Holders for those cleaning utensils are often connected using a mechanism to a wall or to the sink. The mechanisms make the holders hard to be moved from one room to another, or from one space in the kitchen to another. What is needed is a low cost, compact, and easy to install article support device that supports an article in the form of a cleaning utensil.

COOKING THERMOMETER SUSPENSION DEVICE AND METHOD
A device for suspending a cooking thermometer includes a cooking vessel interface having a cooking vessel attachment, a thermometer receiver, and an extension member. The device for suspending a cooking thermometer is useful for placing a cooking thermometer within a cooking vessel at a distance away from the outer walls of the cooking vessel such that the thermal effects of the heat from the outer walls of the cooking vessel are reduced to provide a more accurate temperature reading for the contents of the cooking vessel.

Convertible metal backings and related methods
A substrate usable with a double-side adhesive strip to suspend the substrate to a wall surface. The substrate can have one or more access holes located within an outer perimeter of the substrate. Each access hole has an inner perimeter inwardly of the outer perimeter that is sized and shaped to allow a tab of the double-sided adhesive strip to be extracted through the inner perimeter, after the substrate is suspended on the wall surface. Various articles can attach to the suspended substrate, such as through magnetic attachment, a hook, or a shelf.
