A thermally insulated container comprising: a frusto-conical support base internally comprising a heat source with connection to an external electrical source, a flat support base, an elongated main body of circular section with thermally insulated walls with connectors arranged at the base of said body to electrically link a shielded electrical resistance; a plug with a shutter that acts as a closure of the main body mounted in the mouth of said body by means of a thread and comprising a safety pressure element. The thermally insulated container is particularly adequate for heating water to two temperature settings to be used to prepare mate beverage or to prepare other infusions. In a first embodiment the container holds 500cc of water and in another embodiment it holds one liter of water.

A handle for a container, the container including a peripheral wall that defines an internal area. The handle includes a mount having a locking recess and a body including a pivot arm and a locking arm. The pivot arm is pivotally connected to the mount. When positioned in an operating position, the locking arm is biased toward the locking recess so as to secure the locking arm in place relative to the mount. When positioned in a storage position, the body is rotated about the pivot arm to a location above or in the internal area.

According to the present invention, a single button allows a pot handle to be used as a pot stand, and thus there is no need for a separate additional component or handle. Even when the invention is being used as a pot handle, a portion used in a folded state is protected by a holding projection and a protruding cover. Thus, the present invention can have the effect of improving product durability. In addition, a portion connected to a pot is spaced a certain distance from the pot, thus minimizing the amount of heat conducted when cooking food. Therefore, the invention can be used as a safe pot handle and pot stand. A lateral movement prevention member is provided at the outer diameter of the bottom surface of a fixing piece and minimizes the lateral movement of the pot handle when the pot handle is used as the stand, and thus the pot handle can be safely used as the stand. Also, the effect can be obtained the pot handle is spaced a certain distance from the pot, thus minimizing the thermal conductivity of the pot to prevent injuries such as burns.

The food preparation container includes a second handle comprising a body which has an underside with a cavity extending deep into the body, the cavity designed to accommodate at least the distal phalanges of at least the three middle fingers of a hand and to allow the receptacle to be held suspended by the distal phalanges in an inclined position for pouring or scraping the food preparation. A roasting rack and carving board system includes a roasting rack having a number of spaced support members that support a food item. The system also includes a carving board that has a body with a cutting surface. The body and cutting surface features a number of grooves that receive the spaced support members of the roasting rack so that at least portions of some of the plurality of spaced support members are recessed into the carving board body with respect to the cutting surface.

A roasting rack and carving board system includes a roasting rack having a number of spaced support members that support a food item. The system also includes a carving board that has a body with a cutting surface. The body and cutting surface features a number of grooves that receive the spaced support members of the roasting rack so that at least portions of some of the plurality of spaced support members are recessed into the carving board body with respect to the cutting surface.

A cooking appliance is provided. The cooking appliance comprises a cooker body for receiving food and a lid for covering the cooker body. The cooking appliance has a front side for facilitating cooking operations and a rear side spaced apart from the front side. The cooker body comprises at least one latch slot disposed on an inclined rear side of the cooker body. The lid comprises at least one latch bar disposed on a periphery thereof and extending outwardly therefrom. When the lid is detached from the cooker body, the latch bar is operable to be inserted into the corresponding latch slot to secure the lid at the inclined rear side of the cooker body, allowing a user to secure the lid to the latch slot without reaching a rear side of the cooker body by hand, and to retrieve the food without accidentally contacting the lid.
