COMPOSITE SANDWICH COMPONENTS
Methods of manufacturing composite sandwich components (100) and composite sandwich components overcome drawbacks in the prior art. For example, the large number of resin filled perforations that are unavoidable when manufacturing prior art composite sandwich components is avoided.
SELF-ADHERED ROOFING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to roofing systems. In some embodiments, the roofing system includes a deck, a roofing material, and an underlayment configured to be positioned between the roofing material and the deck. In some embodiments, the underlayment comprises a foil layer and an adhesive layer that is attached to the foil layer and configured to be attached to the deck. Methods of manufacturing roofing systems are also disclosed.
FLOORING AND FLOOR PANELS AND VEHICLES INCLUDING THEM
Flooring and floor panels are described that include a multi-layer tape. The multi-layer tape can include two or more layers at least one of which can include a unidirectional orientation of fibers. In some configurations, the panels can include a tape with multiple layers where each layer of the tape includes a unidirectional orientation of fibers, which may be the same or may be different. Vehicles and other devices including the panels are also described.
CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
The present invention is directed to a curable composition including: an isocyanate-functional prepolymer; an epoxy-containing component present in an amount of at least 10 percent by weight of the composition; and a latent curing agent having an ability to react with at least one of the isocyanate-functional prepolymer and the epoxy-containing component upon exposure to an external energy source. The present invention is also directed to methods of making the compositions, methods of coating a substrate, methods of adhering substrates and coated substrates.
Method and installations for processing a veneer and corresponding veneer
A method and processing station for producing a veneer having two parallel opposed faces and including at least one lignocellulosic layer made of lignocellulosic fibers having a grain extending along the opposed faces of the veneer. The processing station carries out the method by applying a compressive force to the veneer along at least one direction extending along the opposed faces of the veneer so as to mechanically compress the lignocellulosic fibers.

REPOSITIONABLE ADHESIVE ARTICLES FOR STRETCH RELEASE REMOVAL
The present disclosure relates to adhesive article that include a first, stretch releasable adhesive and patterned adhesive elements on, within, or partially embedded in a surface of the adhesive. The adhesive elements can act as spacers between the adhesive surface and the mounting surface to prevent full contact and wet out of the first adhesive, whereby the article can be removed from the wall and placed at a new location without damage to the wall surface or the article. Once the final location is selected, the separation created by the engineered elements can be overcome by applying sufficient pressure; the first adhesive can contact and adhere more permanently to the wall. Thus, a stretch releasable adhesive articles of the present disclosure can move freely relative to the desired mounting surface, while developing additional tack and holding power after sufficient pressure is applied.
SOUND CONTROL FABRICS, MATS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A fabric composite for a gypsum underlayment sound control mat includes a first layer including a spunbond polyolefin layer, a second layer including a nonwoven polyolefin layer, and a hot-melt adhesive layer between and bonding the first layer and the second layer. A gypsum underlayment sound control mat may include the fabric composite bonded to an entangled mesh layer. A flooring system may include a gypsum or gypsum-concrete underlayment over the fabric composite or the mat. The fabric composite may be free of halogenated agents.
MODULAR FLOOR INSTALLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method of a modular floor assembly and installation on an aircraft is presented in embodiments herein. A floor assembly comprising an underlayment layer and a decorative layer may be assembled to provide an aircraft floor that meets Federal Aviation Regulations. The floor assembly may comprise structural, adhesive, and magnetic layers creating a floor assembly that may be quickly and easily removable for maintenance and access to compartments below the floor assembly.
Breathable sheet, laminate, and composite
The breathable sheet of the present invention is comprised of a 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer or a resin composition containing the 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer as a main component. In addition, the breathable sheet of the present invention is preferably selected from the group consisting of a net, a mesh, a non-woven fabric, a woven fabric, and a perforated sheet.
