Reusable covering for protecting a finished surface
A method for manufacturing a panel assembly is disclosed. The method includes receiving the panel assembly. The panel assembly includes at least one panel having a finished surface and a covering that is removably adhered to the finished surface of the panel, where the covering includes a plurality of patch sections defined by lines of demarcation. The method also includes removing at least one patch section from the finished surface of the panel to create an opening by tearing the at least one patch section along the lines of demarcation. Each of the plurality of patch sections are frangible with respect to an adjacent patch section at the lines of demarcation.
Method of manufacturing a laminated packaging material, the packaging material obtained by the method and packaging containers manufactured therefrom
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing of a laminated cellulose-based liquid or semi-liquid food packaging material, wherein the laminated packaging material has a bulk material layer comprising a low-density cellulose spacer layer, an outside module comprising a substrate layer having a print surface and an inside material module comprising a barrier layer or barrier coating. The invention further relates the laminated packaging materials obtained by the method and to a packaging container for liquid food packaging, comprising the laminated packaging material or being made from the laminated packaging material obtained by the method.
FUNCTIONAL LAYER WITH ADHESIVE LAYER, LAMINATE, AND USE THEREOF
A functional layer with an adhesive layer of the present invention includes a functional layer and a curable adhesive layer AD2 arranged over at least apart of a surface of the functional layer, in which the curable adhesive layer AD2 satisfies all the following requirements (1) and (2).
(1) In a case where 32 g of a steel ball is placed on an adhesive surface of the curable adhesive layer AD2 at 25° C. and kept as it is for 10 seconds, and then a glass plate is slowly tilted, the steel ball starts to roll at an angle of 5° or less.
(2) After being cured at 90° C. for 2 hours, the curable adhesive layer AD2 satisfies a ratio (b/a) of a plastic deformation amount b to an elastic deformation amount a of 0.01 to 100 at 25° C. under a load of 0.1 mN.
DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING AN ANTI-CRACK PROJECTION
A display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area, a peripheral area outside the display area, and a bending area bendable along a bending axis, and an anti-crack projection disposed in the peripheral area and extending along at least a part of an edge of the substrate. A portion of the anti-crack projection in the bending area is a bending portion. A preset area including the bending portion on the substrate is a first area. A preset area of the substrate disposed outside the first area, having substantially the same area as that of the first area, and including a part of the anti-crack projection is a second area. A portion of the anti-crack projection belonging to the second area is a flat portion. The area occupied by the bending portion in the first area is greater than the area occupied by the flat portion in the second area.
Adhesive articles comprising polylactic acid polymer film and method of making
A method of making an adhesive article is described comprising melt extruding a core film layer comprising a composition comprising at least 50% of a polylactic acid polymer. The method further comprises melt extruding an adhesive layer on a major surface of the core film layer such that regions of interdiffusion are present between the core film layer and adhesive layer. The adhesive layer may comprise C1-C10 (meth)acrylic acid or ester thereof, vinyl acetate, ethylene vinyl acetate, hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol and combinations thereof. The adhesive layer may also be a pressure sensitive adhesive. The method further comprises melt extruding a release film layer on an opposing major surface of the core film layer. The layers are sequentially extruded or co-extruded and can be uniaxially or biaxially oriented. Articles comprising a core film layer comprising a composition comprising at least 50% of a polylactic acid polymer and an adhesive layer disposed on a major surface of the core layer are also described.
Rigid polymeric modular flooring plank, method of making same, and method of using same
A rigid polymeric modular flooring plank can be one continuous piece having a top surface, a bottom surface and multiple sides defining the edges of said rigid polymeric modular flooring plank. The rigid polymeric modular flooring plank can include the appearance of multiple tiles or one tile as part of the top surface, with each of the multiple tiles having multiple simulated sides and a decorative surface, and each tile is completely surrounded by simulated grout lines that have a depth and either have a full width W or a half width ½W. Any simulated grout line that is located at any of said multiple sides has the half width and all other simulated grout lines have the full width. The rigid polymeric modular flooring plank has at least a polymeric base layer, a decorative layer, and a wear layer located above the decorative layer.
CONDUCTIVE TERMITE BAIT SYSTEM
The present disclosure includes a conductive termite bait device, including: a strip elongate along a first direction; a first insulative layer disposed along at least a portion of the strip; and a bait layer disposed between the first insulative layer and the strip. The bait layer may be configured to attract termites. In some embodiments, the first insulative layer and the bait layer are compressed to thereby bind the first insulative layer and the bait layer together.
