A hand tool is disclosed which provides for extension and protection of a person's hand while allowing for the manipulation of a food product, even over a hot oven or grill. The hand tool comprises the tool section, a handle, and a shield sleeve. The handle can be attached to the tool section or to the shield sleeve. In one embodiment, the tool section is reversibly attached to the shield sleeve, so that the tool is interchangeable with other tools.

A lifting and carrying apparatus for structurally weakened containers includes a handle, a left supporting arm, and a right supporting arm. The left supporting arm and the right supporting arm each includes a mounting section, a back support, a lateral support, and an auxiliary support. The left supporting arm and the right supporting arm are symmetrically positioned of each other about the handle and outwardly connected to the handle. A proximal end of the mounting section is terminally connected to a front end of the handle. The back support is terminally connected to a distal end of the mounting section and perpendicularly positioned to the mounting section. The lateral support is terminally connected to the back support, opposite of the mounting section, and perpendicularly positioned to the back support. The auxiliary support is terminally connected to the lateral support, opposite of the back support.

The back support is terminally connected to a distal end of the mounting section and perpendicularly positioned to the mounting section. The lateral support is terminally connected to the back support, opposite of the mounting section, and perpendicularly positioned to the back support. The auxiliary support is terminally connected to the lateral support, opposite of the back support.

Certain exemplary embodiments provide a grill. The grill comprises a cooking grid. The cooking grid rests on a frame of the grill substantially without being coupled to the grill. Certain exemplary embodiments provide a handle that is coupleable to the cooking grid. The handle is grippable by a human hand. The handle is constructed to allow a user to lift the cooking grid off of a portion of the grill that is above a burner of the grill.

A serving container and ring element system that includes a serving dish and a ring element having a ring element lip with a shape that substantially corresponds to a shape of a serving dish lip, wherein portions of the ring element lip are formed to be positionable around at least a portion of the serving dish lip to provide frictional engagement between portions of said ring element lip and at least a portion of said serving dish lip, such that said ring element is capable of securing a foil pan within said serving dish.

The present invention comprises a cooking rack including plate; a plurality of holes formed in the plate; a plurality of legs for supporting the plate above a surface. The plurality of holes and plurality of legs may be configured to enhance the amount of radiative heat that an item placed on top of the plate can receive. Further, the plurality of holes may account for at least 40% of an area of the plate. The invention may further include a plurality of legs provide a contact surface that is less than 3% of an area of the plate. Sets of legs may project from the sides of the plate.

A panhandle cover made of a heat-resistant material including leather is generally of a longitudinally-split tubular configuration with its longitudinal split having the converging flanks overlapping one inside the other. The nature of genuine leather enables the flanks to conform to any pan-handle as it wraps around the handle. The flexibility of the leather cover adapts to the handle with conformity to the handle-configuration through use.
