MULTILAYER CONTAINMENT AND PROTECTION TUBE FOR CONDUITS, CABLES AND THE LIKE
A multilayer containment and protection tube for conduits, cables and the like, includes an inner layer made of polymeric material, which is electrically at least antistatic, with a smooth internal surface, which forms a duct for supporting conduits or cables. The tube further includes one or more intermediate layers of electrically at least antistatic reinforcement, an outer layer made of electrically at least antistatic polymeric material, and a covering and finishing layer, which is electrically at least antistatic.
Floor Mat Having Reduced Tuft Profile
This invention relates to a floor mat having reduced tuft profile on the backside of the textile component of the floor mat. The floor mat is comprised of a textile component and a base component. The textile component includes face yarn tufted through a primary backing layer. The reduced tuft profile is present on the backside of the textile component. Advantages of a floor mat with reduced tuft profile include improved uniformity of the secondary backing layer applied to the textile component and improved durability of the textile component.

Curative
A curative for epoxidized plant-based oils and epoxidized natural rubber is created from the reaction between a naturally occurring polyfunctional acid and an epoxidized plant-based oil is disclosed. The curative may be used to produce at least one of six different materials, wherein each type of material may be configured as a thermosetting elastomer that is crosslinked with β-hydroxyester linkages. The materials may be configured as a leather-like material, a foam material, a molded elastomer, a coating, an adhesive, and/or a rigid or semi-rigid material. Illustrative articles made from any combination of the six materials may be recycled using a mechano-chemical process to de-crosslink the thermosetting elastomer.
Floor mat with hidden base component
This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat with a hidden base component. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is also described herein.

Electromagnetic wave absorber, article with electromagnetic wave absorber, and method for manufacturing electromagnetic wave absorber
An electromagnetic wave absorber (1a) includes a resistive layer (10), an electrically conductive layer (20) and a dielectric layer (30). The electrically conductive layer (20) has a sheet resistance lower than a sheet resistance of the resistive layer (10). The dielectric layer (30) is disposed between the resistive layer (10) and the electrically conductive layer (20). The electromagnetic wave absorber (1a) has a first slit (15). The first slit (15) extends, in the resistive layer (10), from a first principal surface (10a) distal to the dielectric layer (30) toward the dielectric layer (30) in a direction perpendicular to the first principal surface (10a) and divides the resistive layer (10) into a plurality of first blocks (17). Each of the first blocks (17) has a minimum dimension (D1) of 2 mm or more at the first principal surface (10a).
Non-black rubber membranes
A roofing membrane comprising an olefinic rubber; and from about 20 to about 250 parts by weight of a silica filler per 100 parts by weight rubber; wherein the silica filler is chemically coupled to the olefinic rubber; and wherein the roofing membrane is non-black.
