According to some embodiments, a resealable lidding film is provided. The resealable lidding film includes a first layer capable of being attached to a compostable container according to some embodiments. In certain embodiments, the first layer can include a first layer top surface; a first layer bottom surface; a release coating applied to at least a portion of the first top surface of the first layer; and one or more score lines. The resealable lidding film also includes a second layer lacking score lines according to some embodiments. The resealable lidding film also includes an adhesive layer between the release coating of the first layer and the second layer according to some embodiments. In other embodiments, the resealable lidding film includes a first layer capable of being attached to a compostable container and a second layer having a release coating applied to at least a portion of a top surface of the second layer; and one or more score lines through the first and second layers. The resealable lidding film includes also includes a third layer lacking score lines. In some embodiments, the resealable lidding film includes a permanent adhesive layer between the first and second layers and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer between the second and third layers.

Peel strength between dissimilar fabrics

Hybrid fibrous composite materials incorporating at least two different fabric components and a multicomponent adhesive system for adhering the fabric components together. The adhesive system enhances the bond strength between the fabric components, which would otherwise easily delaminate from each other and peel apart. The components of the adhesive system bond strongly to each other as well as to the fabric elements.

The present invention is concerned with a method of manufacture of a hair fastener. The method includes the steps of i) providing at least one elastic band with a length of 65-205 mm and a width or diameter of 0.8-10 mm, wherein the elastic band defines ends surface at opposite ends thereof, ii) knitting a layer of fabric over and along the length of the elastic band; iii) connecting the opposite ends by a first connector thus effecting the elastic band taking the form of loop, wherein the first connector is an adhesive; iv) connecting the opposite ends by a second connecter, wherein the second connector is formed by molding over the first connector at the opposite ends, and bonding the second connector, the fabric cover and the elastic band at the opposite ends together.

The present invention relates to a process for electroplating an adhesive composition onto at least one conductive element, in which the conductive element is placed in contact with the adhesive composition comprising: a phosphate salt and a resin based on: a compound A1, compound A1 being chosen from a compound A11 comprising at least two functions, one of these functions being a hydroxymethyl function and the other being an aldehyde function or a hydroxymethyl function, or a compound A12 comprising at least one aldehyde function, or a mixture of a compound A11 and of a compound A12; and a phenol A21. A potential difference is applied between the conductive element and the adhesive composition to coat the conductive element with an adhesive layer.

A material for reducing exposure to ionizing radiation. One exemplary embodiment comprises a felt layer; a foil layer; a first adhesive film layer disposed between the outer felt layer and the foil layer; a radiation shield layer; a second adhesive film layer disposed between the foil layer and radiation shield layer; and a foam layer disposed on the surface of the radiation shield layer opposite the second adhesive film layer. The material may be installed in commercial aircraft, corporate aircraft, flight suits, helmets, military uniforms, rotary aircraft, spacecraft, and the like. For example, the material disclosed herein may be provided as a headliner in an aircraft, or alternatively may be used to line the entire interior of an aircraft. In one or more embodiments, the material may be secured to a surface using a hook and loop attachment mechanism.

A frictional power transmission belt includes a tension layer forming a belt back surface, a compression rubber layer to be in contact with a pulley and frictionally engaged with the pulley, and a tension member embedded between the tension layer and the compression rubber layer along a belt length direction. The compression rubber layer has a surface to be in contact with the pulley. At least a part of the surface is coated with a fiber layer via a fiber/resin mixture layer. The fiber/resin mixture layer contains a resin component and heat-resistant fibers having a softening point or a melting point higher than a vulcanization temperature of a rubber forming the compression rubber layer. The fiber layer contains hydrophilic heat-resistant fibers having a softening point or a melting point higher than the vulcanization temperature and does not contain a resin component.
