A charging member for an image forming apparatus may include a conductive support and a surface layer on the conductive support and not in contact with a photosensitive member. The surface layer may comprise a urethane foam including foam cells and having a foam structure based on the foam cells, the foam cells including open cells.

Peel strength between dissimilar fabrics

Hybrid fibrous composite materials incorporating at least two different fabric components and a multicomponent adhesive system for adhering the fabric components together. The adhesive system enhances the bond strength between the fabric components, which would otherwise easily delaminate from each other and peel apart. The components of the adhesive system bond strongly to each other as well as to the fabric elements.

METHODS OF MANUFACTURE OF HAIR FASTENERS AND HAIR FASTENERS MADE THEREFROM
20230113543 · 2023-04-13 · ·

The present invention is concerned with a method of manufacture of a hair fastener. The method includes the steps of i) providing at least one elastic band with a length of 65-205 mm and a width or diameter of 0.8-10 mm, wherein the elastic band defines ends surface at opposite ends thereof, ii) knitting a layer of fabric over and along the length of the elastic band; iii) connecting the opposite ends by a first connector thus effecting the elastic band taking the form of loop, wherein the first connector is an adhesive; iv) connecting the opposite ends by a second connecter, wherein the second connector is formed by molding over the first connector at the opposite ends, and bonding the second connector, the fabric cover and the elastic band at the opposite ends together.

An exercise mat comprising: at least one top layer comprising polyurethane, at least one bottom layer, and at least one middle layer disposed between the at least one top layer and the at least one bottom layer,.

Process for electroplating an aqueous adhesive composition comprising a phosphate salt and a thermosetting resin on a conductive element

The present invention relates to a process for electroplating an adhesive composition onto at least one conductive element, in which the conductive element is placed in contact with the adhesive composition comprising: a phosphate salt and a resin based on: a compound A1, compound A1 being chosen from a compound A11 comprising at least two functions, one of these functions being a hydroxymethyl function and the other being an aldehyde function or a hydroxymethyl function, or a compound A12 comprising at least one aldehyde function, or a mixture of a compound A11 and of a compound A12; and a phenol A21. A potential difference is applied between the conductive element and the adhesive composition to coat the conductive element with an adhesive layer.

Laminate

Adding silica particles having specified collective characteristics to a fluororubber formulation enhances direct adhesion between the fluororubber formulation and a copolymer upon curing. Specifically, as measured before being mixed into the fluororubber formulation, the silica particles have an average value of the product “(particle size)×(circularity)” that is 17.5 nm or higher and 500 μm or lower. The silica particles may also have an average particle size of between 25.0 nm inclusive and 500 μm inclusive, and an average circularity of 0.80 or higher. Alternatively, as measured after being incorporated into the fluororubber formulation and then cured, the silica particles have an apparent average value of the product “(particle size)×(circularity)” that is 32.0 nm or higher and 500 μm or lower. The silica particles may also have an apparent average particle size of between 40.0 nm inclusive and 500 μm inclusive as measured after being incorporated into the fluororubber formulation and then cured.
