Turntable Cutting Board Device
20240016340 · 2024-01-18 ·

A turntable cutting board device for cutting food on a rotatable surface includes a base with a cutting board rotatably coupled to the base. The cutting board is planar and has a cutting surface facing away from the base and a bottom surface facing the base. A plunger is coupled to the base, faces the cutting board, and is spring biased toward the cutting board. A detent is positioned in the bottom surface of the cutting board. The detent faces the base and is positioned such that the plunger aligns with the detent when the cutting board is positioned in a locked position. The plunger removably secures the cutting board in the locked position when the cutting board is in the locked position, and the cutting board becomes unsecured from the locked position when a sufficient torque is exerted on the cutting board about the rotational axis.

CUTTING INSERT
20240016341 · 2024-01-18 ·

The presently disclosed subject matter relates to a cutting insert designed to fit in a traditional food container, specifically the food container's lid. The cutting insert comprises an upward facing surface and downward facing surface. The upward facing surface and downward facing surface define a thickness therebetween and a perimeter that extends between them. The thickness of the cutting insert is designed so that its upward facing surface, on which food may be placed, is raised above the rims of the lid in which it is placed, thus enabling a user to easily cut food placed on the cutting insert. Thus, the cutting insert provides a raised, substantially planar, surface usable for placing food, and cutting, on it. Additionally, the cutting insert when positioned inside the lid, does not prevent a user from releasably securing the lid to the food container's body, and thereby storing food placed on the cutting insert inside the food container, while the food container is maintained in an upside-down position.

Cutlery Apparatus

A cutlery apparatus that is configured to provide efficient removal of corn kernels from a corn cob. The cutlery apparatus includes a support member that is planar in manner having an upper surface and a perimeter edge. A first brace member and a second brace member are mounted to the upper surface of the support member and further include a void therebetween. The first brace member and second brace member are parallel to each other and angularly oriented on the support member. A cutting member is provided wherein the cutting member has a first portion disposed within the void and a second portion extending beyond the perimeter edge of the support member. The second portion of the cutting member is a metal blade. A clamp member extends across the void and is movably secured to the first brace member and second brace member.

FOOD CUTTING APPARATUS

A food cutting apparatus includes first and second guide panels spaced apart from each other at a preset distance, the first and second guide panels each having a plurality of cutting slots formed downwardly at regular interval, defining a plurality of cutting guide paths to guide a cutting knife there-through to cut food products placed between the guide panels into pieces; a cutting board placed between the first and second guide panels, the cutting board having a predetermined width configured to preset the distance of the first and second guide panels by abutting the first and second guide panels against two opposing side faces of the cutting board placed there-between, thereby, enabling the user to slice the placed food products into multiple pieces using a cutting knife introduced to the plural pairs of corresponding cutting slots of the first and second guide panels; and first and second guide posts coupled perpendicularly to the first and second guide so as to guide and position the first and second guide panels at the preset distance there-between. Multiple cutting boards of different widths can be provided to place and cut different amount or rolls of the food products.

Cutting board systems

A cutting board system that includes a cutting surface that removeably cooperates with at least one side of a base portion of the cutting board system. In a preferred aspect, the cutting surface includes a cutting layer and an indicator layer that underlies the cutting layer. Exposure of the indicator layer provides an indication as to degradation or use of the cutting layer and is indicative of desired replacement of the cutting surface. In a more preferred embodiment, respective cutting layers are associated with the generally opposite sides of the indicator layer such that the cutting surface is reversible.
