A cutting board having removable grommet feet that protrude entirely through the upper and lower surface of a cutting board. The bottom of the grommet assembly includes a concave recess below the board. The top of the grommet assembly has a convex head above the board. Multiple boards may be stacked wherein the recess of an upper board fits over the head of the lower board providing a stable stacking configuration and ensuring separation between the boards allowing airflow between adjacent, stacked boards. The head of the grommet assembly is supple to push through an aperture or cut out in the board surface for installation and removal.

A cutting board integrated with an associated washing device is provided. The washing device includes a kitchen appliance such as a dishwasher. The cutting board is configurable with the washing device in a variety of ways. The cutting board is incorporated into the washing device and extendable from the front of the washer for use in preparing food. After use, the board is retracted back into the washer for cleaning.

A method of chopping or cutting a food item on a cutting board which involves configuring and holding a flexible cutting board in a U-shaped configuration and chopping or cutting a food item in the bottom of the U-shaped configuration. Particles of the food item that would otherwise traject off a flat cutting board are contained between the side walls of the U-shaped configuration of the flexible cutting board and un-chopped and un-cut pieces of the food item fall downward into the bottom of the U-shaped configuration of the flexible cutting board. Also provided is the combination of a flexible cutting board and a cutting board holder that receives and holds a flexible cutting board in the U-shaped configuration.

A disposable cutting board and a process for the manufacture of the disposable cutting board are disclosed. The disposable cutting board includes a center layer, a first outer layer, and a second outer layer. The center layer has opposed outer surfaces and is made from a block of wood which is substantially free of sugar, lathed, and sanded. At least the first outer layer is a wax paper and is bonded to one of the outer surfaces of the center layer for forming the disposable cutting board. In another aspect, disposable cutlery and a process for the manufacture of the disposable cutlery are disclosed. The disposable cutlery is made from a block of wood substantially free of sugar, lathed, sanded, and impregnated with wax.

A system for cutting food includes a food cutter including feet for mounting the food cutter, a can opener holder comprising a cavity, and a portable support for the food cutter. The portable support includes a substantially planar frame extending in a plane, an attachment device on the frame that connects the feet of the food cutter to the frame, and a shaft protruding from the frame and extending substantially parallel with the plane of the frame. The portable support is releasably attached to the food cutter when the feet are connected to the attachment device, and at least a portion of the shaft is located in the cavity of the can opener holder.

This disclosure relates to a disposable cutting board assembly. The assembly includes a homogenous sheet of cut-resistant paper material having an inner cutting area. A plurality of peripheral outer borders and a plurality of corners extend from said inner cutting area to an endless exterior edge. The inner cutting area, said outer borders and said corners each have a top surface and a bottom surface. A coating of plastic is disposed on said top surface of said inner cutting area, said outer borders and said corners of said homogeneous sheet of paper material. The coating of plastic provides a sterile durable surface to prevent liquid absorption into said sheet of paper material and reduces cross contamination. An embossed pattern is within said inner cutting area. The embossed pattern includes plurality of embossed lines that intersect to form a plurality of repeating geometric shapes. Each of the plurality of repeating geometric shapes include at least one acute angle. A depressed area is within each of the repeating geometric shapes. The depressed area prevents liquid overflow. Each of the plurality of embossed lines has opposing sides that are parallel to each other and extend to a flat top, or has opposing sides that are transverse to each other.

A container system for storing, transporting, preparing, and serving food includes a first container half having a body. The first container half includes a first cavity defined by an interior space of the body of the first container half, a first recessed edge formed into a face of an opening of the first cavity, and a groove formed into the face of the opening of the first cavity. The container system also includes a second container half having a body. The second container half includes a second cavity defined by an interior space of the body of the second container half, a second recessed edge formed into a face of an opening of the second cavity, and a tongue extending from the face of the opening of the second cavity and configured to fit within the groove when the first container half is mated to the second container half.

A cutting board for a hopper of a pellet grill, wherein the cutting board has a recessed area for removably attaching to the lid of the hopper. The cutting board may include magnetizable material countersunk to the recess area for magnetically attaching to the lid of the hopper. The cutting board may provide instructional indicia along the edges of the recessed area, wherein the instructional indicia is visible when the hopper lid is in an open condition.

A cutting board for cutting food articles into parts. The cutting board has a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides defining an area of the cutting board. A lateral groove extends between the pair of long sides and differentiates the area of the board into a first platform and a second platform. The area is further differentiated into a third platform which is adjacent to the second platform. A blade pivotally coupled to the end of the lateral groove. The cutting board further includes a finger guard and a food stopper.

An electronic cutting board which includes a power receiver configured to receive power from a wireless power transmission apparatus, a communication circuitry configured to communicate with the wireless power transmission apparatus, a plate including a display and a protective cover provided to protect the display, a weight sensor configured to measure a weight of an object while the object is placed on the plate, and a controller configured to control the display to display a cutting guide based on the measured weight.
