INTERIOR TRIM PART OF AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE COMPRISING A VELVET FONT LAYER
An interior trim part made by a method that includes the steps of bringing a fiber web onto a conveyor, needlepunching the fiber web to form a base in contact with the conveyor, and introducing a binder component on the base. The binder component introduced on the base is a thermoplastic polymer in solid form. The method includes a step for heating the base to cause the thermoplastic polymer making up the binder component to penetrate the base over a thickness smaller than the thickness of the base.

Sound reducing panel
An improved sound reducing panel is disclosed comprising a front porous sheet for enabling sound to enter into the sound reducing panel and a rear non-porous sheet. A sound absorbing member dissipates sound entering into the front porous sheet. A sound blocking member blocks sound from exiting from the sound absorbing member. A decoupling member reduces sonic vibration from being transferred from the sound blocking member to the rear non-porous sheet. One embodiment includes a drenching shield for inhibiting water from entering the sound absorbing member. Another embodiment includes a decorative or artistic image located on the sound reducing panel.

Polyester Laminated Building Boards With Improved Surface Characteristics
This disclosure relates to using polyester films on building boards to enable improved surface coatings. The polyester film is preferably applied to a glass mat via an adhesive to form a laminate. This laminate is then bonded to the exterior surface of a gypsum board. The polyester film is advantageous because it allows for exterior surface coatings to be applied. In one embodiment, an exterior acrylic coating is applied to the polyester film. Boards constructed in accordance with this disclosure allow for exterior finishings to be achieved without the need for excessive finishing materials or steps.
HARD COAT LAMINATE FILM
According to at least one embodiment, there is provided a hard coat laminate film having a total light transmittance of 80% or more and having (γ) a hard coat on at least one surface of (α) an aromatic-polycarbonate resin film containing 30 mol % or more of a structural unit derived from 4,4′-(3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane-1,1-diyl)diphenol when the total of the structural units derived from aromatic dihydroxy compounds is 100 mol %. According to another embodiment, there is provided a hard coat laminate film having a total light transmittance of 80% or more and having (γ) a hard coat on at least one surface of a transparent laminate film constituted of (α) an aromatic-polycarbonate resin film containing 30 mol % or more of a structural unit derived from 4,4′-(3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane-1,1-diyl)diphenol, when the total of the structural units derived from aromatic dihydroxy compounds is 100 mol %, and (β) a poly(meth)acrylimide resin film.
MULTILAYER STRUCTURE AND PACKAGING MATERIAL INCLUDING SAME
The present invention provides a novel multilayer structure having good gas barrier properties and good water vapor barrier properties and further having high retort resistance and a packaging material including the multilayer structure. The present invention relates to a multilayer structure including a base (X) and a layer (Y) stacked on the base (X). The layer (Y) contains an aluminum-containing compound (A) and an organic phosphorus compound (BO), and the organic phosphorus compound (BO) contains a phosphorus atom-containing functional group and at least one metal ion (Z) selected from ions of metals of Groups 1 to 12 of the periodic table, the content of the metal ion (Z) being 0.4 to 8.0 mol % relative to the content of the phosphorus atom-containing functional group.
