Panel coating
11566431 · 2023-01-31 · ·

A method for coating of a floor panel and a floor panel produced by the method. A method for producing a laminated product, for example a building panel, preferably a floor panel. The method includes applying a paper on one side of a wood fiber based core, e.g., an HDF panel, creating a décor on the paper by a digital printing process, applying a resin, preferably a melamine formaldehyde resin, on the paper, heating the décor and the paper with the resin, preferably by using an IR lamp; and applying heat and pressure in order to cure the resin and thereby obtain a laminated product. Also, alternative methods for producing a laminated product, and such a laminated product.

METAL REINFORCED BOARD
20230015309 · 2023-01-19 · ·

The invention relates to a hollow board material comprising a first sheet and a second sheet. A first and a second lath are arranged in parallel between the first sheet and the second sheet along opposite edges of the hollow board material. The first lath and the first sheet are attached to each other by means of a first metal gripping lamina which at least partly covers the first lath. The second lath and the first sheet are attached to each other by means of a second metal gripping lamina which at least partly covers the first lath. Optionally, the first lath and the second sheet are attached to each other by means of a third metal gripping lamina and optionally the second lath and the second sheet are attached to each other by means of a fourth metal gripping lamina. The metal gripping laminas have a first face and a second face which are opposed to each other. Each face comprises a plurality of sharp projections extending substantially perpendicular therefrom and into the laths or the sheets respectively. The metal gripping laminas thereby provides a hollow board material and increases the bending strength of the hollow board material. The invention further relates to a furniture comprising said hollow board material and method for producing said hollow board material.

COMPOSITE PANELS WITH ADHESIVE AND SEPARATE FRAGMENT LAYERS

A panel and a method for manufacturing thereof where the panel includes a first layer comprising a first blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments; a second layer comprising a second blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments, wherein the paper fragments and plastic fragments of the second blend are coated with an adhesive; and a third layer comprising the first blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments, wherein the second layer is disposed between the first layer and the third layer, and wherein the first layer, the second layer, and the third layer are combined to form the panel using heat and pressure. In another embodiment, the paper fragments and plastic fragments of the first blend, not the second blend, are coated with an adhesive.

ENGINEERED WOOD SIDING, TRIM AND FENCING WITH FIRE RESISTANT PROPERTIES
20230219327 · 2023-07-13 ·

A multi-layer fire-resistant (FR) panel or board, for use in exterior applications, such as siding, cladding, trim, fencing, or sheathing. The panel or board may be OSB or other form of engineered-wood, with an integrated fire-resistant laminate incorporated during a manufacturing process. The laminate may be placed on top of or under a fines layer. The laminate may be placed under an overlay layer, such as a resin-impregnated paper overlay, or other form of weather- or water-resistant barrier (WRB). The laminate itself may also serve as a WRB, and may thus be combined with or substituted for the overlay layer. A second FR laminate may be applied on the bottom of the panel or board. In addition to providing FR characteristics, the laminate also protects the structural integrity of the panel by preventing or reducing the splitting and/or cracking of the panel or board during a fire event.

Laminated parts are described that include a core, a fiber layer arranged on each side of the core and impregnated with a polyurethane resin, and an outer layer that at least partially coats at least one of the polyurethane impregnated fiber layers, in which the outer layer is the cured reaction product of a reaction mixture that includes: (1) a polyisocyanate, (2) a polyether polyol having a molecular weight of 800 Da to 25,000 Da and a functionality of 2 to 8, and (3) a fatty acid ester having isocyanate-reactive functionality. Methods of producing such laminated parts are also described.

Multilayer structure and method for producing same, coating liquid, packaging material, and protective sheet for electronic devices

The present invention relates to a multilayer structure including a base (X) and a layer (Y), wherein the layer (Y) includes an aluminum-containing compound (A) and a phosphorus compound (BH) in which a phosphorus atom having at least one hydroxy group and a polar group are bonded via an alkylene chain having 3 to 20 carbon atoms or a polyoxyalkylene chain based on an alkylene having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, and the aluminum-containing compound (A) is a compound (Ab) including a reaction product (D) of an aluminum-containing metal oxide (Aa) and an inorganic phosphorus compound (BI).

Garment incorporating waterproof or water resilient aqueous polyurethane dispersions and/or having altered stress profile

Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment and/or has one or more sections of waterproof or water-resilient fabric. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.
