SYNTHETIC RUBBER TILE WITH THERMAL RESISTANCE MODULATION

A prefabricated tile-type coating, whose manufacture is based on the development of a polymeric composite including mainly recycled synthetic rubber obtained from the grinding of scrap automotive waste tires, virgin rubber, or a combination of both, using as a binder a novel cross-linkable acrylic resin with the ability to be processed by pultrusion. The upper layer of the tile is made of a resin with thermochromic effect that integrates an encapsulated pigment of thermochromic material with a transition temperature in the range of 20-35 C. which changes color from white under high-temperature conditions, i.e. C. or greater than dark in conditions of low temperature, that is, 20 C. or less. The tile of elastomeric character obtained has notable competitive advantages compared to other technologies in terms of thermal resistance, solar reflectance, and resistance to the impact caused by hail or other meteorological phenomena.

Double-sided drainage-promoting wrap
10676918 · 2020-06-09 · ·

A drainage-promoting wrap for a building structure includes a weather-resistive membrane having a face with a series of separate, spaced-apart, spacer elements bonded thereto and projecting therefrom to a first predetermined height and an embossed membrane having embossments projecting from a face thereof to a second predetermined height. The weather-resistive membrane and embossed membrane are bonded together to form a double-sided drainage promoting wrap such that the spacer elements project from a first face of the wrap and the embossments project from an opposite face of the wrap. The first predetermined height may be greater than the second predetermined height. Wall and roof assemblies and a method of producing a wrap are also provided.

A floor, wall, or ceiling panel and to a method for producing same. The panel has a base made of a wood material and an upper veneer. The base and the veneer are hot-pressed together while incorporating a resin layer. During the pressing process, pores, cracks, and/or gaps in the veneer are filled with resin. In particular, the pressing process is carried out such that the veneer is saturated with resin, and the resin can be seen on the surface of the veneer after the pressing process. The adhesion of the veneer to the base and the smoothing of the veneer are thus carried out in one operation.

REPULPABLE CONTAINER INSULATION PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME

Container insulation including a batt comprised of large paper particles, at least 90% of which by weight are greater than 10 mm in diameter.
