Composite panels and methods for making the same
The disclosed panels generally comprise a protective layer composed of a paper impregnated with a melamine resin. The protective layer may be incorporated into a panel comprising a rigid composite core, such as a plastic composite core or a mineral composite core. Disclosed are also methods for manufacturing the panels.
Cut processing of layered composites by water vapor annealing
In a method for making a flexible material, a sheet of graphene oxide-composite paper is subjected to an environment having a relative humidity above a predetermined threshold for a predetermined amount of time. At least one expansion cut is cut in the sheet of graphene oxide-composite paper. A flexible conductive material includes a sheet of graphene oxide-composite paper defining at least one cut passing therethrough and formed it a kirigami structure. A region of the sheet of graphene oxide-composite paper includes reduced graphene oxide.

Panel and Method for Producing a Panel
The invention relates to a panel and a method for producing a panel. The panel is in particular a floor, wall or ceiling panel, and comprises at least one core layer, the core layer comprising an upper core surface and a lower core surface and at least one pair of opposite side edges; wherein the core layer comprises magnesium oxide cement; wherein the core has a density which is substantially homogenous over its entire volume, and wherein at least one decorative top layer is attached to an upper core surface of the core layer.
Composite panels with adhesive and separate fragment layers
A panel and a method for manufacturing thereof where the panel includes a first layer comprising a first blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments; a second layer comprising a second blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments, wherein the paper fragments and plastic fragments of the second blend are coated with an adhesive; and a third layer comprising the first blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments, wherein the second layer is disposed between the first layer and the third layer, and wherein the first layer, the second layer, and the third layer are combined to form the panel using heat and pressure. In another embodiment, the paper fragments and plastic fragments of the first blend, not the second blend, are coated with an adhesive.

Water-dispersible paper
An object is to provide a water-dispersible paper that exhibits excellent dispersibility in water. As a solution, a water-dispersible paper is provided, which has: a base paper that has a bulky layer containing 10% by weight or higher of a softwood pulp with a lumen width (l) to fiber diameter (D) ratio (l/D) of 0.60 or lower on average; and a water-soluble polymer impregnated into the base paper.
